Heat Press DIY Mini Heat Press Review (Tomoson)

I received the #HeatPressDIY mini heat press, in exchange for honest review from #Tomoson. I wanted this to help with a mask project, I started. I also started working on an backpack purse with transfer vinyl. I love exploring my creative side. Who knows what I can create next?

The mini heat press is great for for small and/or challenging projects. It also has an LED display, which shows both Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees. It also has a timer built in. The kit also comes with a spray bottle; a carrying case; and a heat-resistant foam mat.

This was my first time, using a heat press and I still have a lot to turn, like turning the temperature settings on, which I have struggled with, since I received it, but once it is on, I can work on my projects. I also like how the press is small and portable.

Trazdone-Induced Dreams: Attack of the Ex

December 12, 2021

I had my first Trazodone nightmare, two nights ago. An ex, who lives in another state, wanted me to testify for him, in court, saying he wasn't there, doing whatever he wasn't supposed to be doing. I live in Texas. He lives in GA. I also had an appointment or something, I was doing the same day. If the offense or defense lawyers did any research, they would realize, I wasn't in the state and I was busy at the time, but the ex was persistent.

He traveled to Texas to convince me to lie for him in court. He didn't care I would be locked up and away from the kids. One of which, he did not even ask about. He tried choking and strangling me. He tried dragging me onto the train tracks, while the train was coming. He tried to harm my niece. He was seriously angry, I would not lie for him and risk my freedom for someone, who does not care about me.

Both me and my niece tried to escape from him and thought we was free. Nope, he found out where we lived and banged on the door hard, shooting a gun in the air. The niece was able to escape through the window, outside to a small park, where our other relatives was. I wasn't able to squeeze all my belly through the window.

The small park had my cousin, Chad, who is in college; his grandmother (my great aunt, who passed away, a few years ago). The park had trees and the clouds was bright-white, like we was in Heaven or something.

Hypersun PlayPen Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Hypersun Playpen, (listing is currently down)in exchange for honest review, from Tomoson.

The playpen, came in a big box, with panels, including an activity and door panel, including top connectors, end connectors, and silicone feet.

I wanted the playpen because it was big enough to wrap around Kalen's play area, giving his area, a frame/border. The playpen also has built-in activities, which will give Kalen something extra to do, when he doesn't want to play with his kitchen set or other toys.

The activities include a carrot, which moves up and down; some rollers; a pressable button; and a spinning wheel with animals.

The door has a built-in lock, which is easy to open and close.

Today is a weird day

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

Today feels super weird. The house is quieter than normal. The drama is reduced. The house is still a mess though, but I did clean Kalen's play area and set up, a new item for a future product video review.. Brad is gone for the next, few days, during a trial run of residential placement, to see if he can fit into a group home setting, in the future.

Covid has taken a hit, on everyone. Brad has not responded well to being out of school, so much that I had to call crisis management for myself, multiple times. It felt weird calling, for myself, but I had enough with the daily, multiple, meltdowns. I am sick and tired of my son, hitting the walls, doors, and windows, aa soon as he wakes up, and frequently throughout the day. I am tired of being hit, pushed, kicked, and spit on, on a regular basis. Tired of the holes, in the walls, with exposed insulation and wires. Visiting Home Depot has become a regular thing because they sell sheet rock squares. I also learned how to replace blinds; made my own keys with the self key maker kiosk; and got Kalen a foam, puzzle mat, for his play area.

TronicMaster UVC Light Sanitizer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Tronic Master UV Light Sanitizer, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The device sanitizes your items, such as phone, glasses, and keys with UV light, using a usb-c cord (included). The device also doubles as a power bank to charge your phone, tablets, and other items.

I used the sanitizer, so far, on my glasses and phone, while using the charger to charge my kindle. The sanitizer was easy to use.

To use, you place your items in the sanitizer; close the lid; and turn on the power button. The sanitization process lasts three minutes, then the blue light turns off when complete.

I had no issues using the product. You can purchase the sanitizer, on Amazon. The sanitizer is prime-eligible.

The Autism Trap

An autism trap is an area of town where there is an high risk of something fundamentally happening. A high risk of elopement. A high risk of running into traffic and almost getting hit by a car or cars. A level five massive meltdown waiting to happen- no will happen.

A situation where I am not physically or mentally equipped to deal with. Imagine trying to pull a 200-lb man back, when we weigh close to the same, from running into the street or out of the street. Having a concerned person call 911 for an assault versus an autistic meltdown. Hoping the officer is a CIRT trained officer.

Trying to manage both the meltdown and keeping Kalen within visual distance. Sometimes a concerned citizen offers to hold him while I deal with Brad. Knowing the officers can't do anything about the situation because the city will never admit my oldest , to a psych ward, because of his violence and aggression, in addition to him not being potty-trained. Just calm him down enough to put him back on the bus or wait on a ride or someone offering us a ride home.

I try to avoid the traps by using a Lyft or an Uber, if I have the funds, to get to certain places. If I have to ride the bus, I use Google maps, for any restaurants and other enticing places, which will increase the risk. If there is a risk I have to reconsider whether or not I need to go. My mama and niece also help drive me to places to avoid traps.

The Trip to Aarons:

My methods are not always the best. Last year, I rented a computer for a few months after my HP stream, started to act stupid. I don't like blogging from my phone let alone streaming any shows. I went to Aaron's and found a reasonable one that I could use. I mapped out the route to Aarons and did not see too many risks. It was one bus from my house. I wasn't sure how to get back home though without crossing highway. I could always ride the bus downtown and back. What I didn't notice was the McDonald's, on the other side of the highway next to Aldine high, but Brad did.

Brad tried to cross a multi-lane highway. Luckily I was able to hold him back from going into the road, but it was hard. Someone saw me struggling and offered me a way home.

The Trip to get to Church:

Another incident was a few years ago, after I moved to my first apartment. My church at that time did not offer bus service to pick us up and drop us off from the new part of town. I knew I had to start looking for a new church but that proved difficult. Looking for the right church with a special needs program for both kids is a challenge, especially with brad, close to aging out. I tried a few churches but wasn't really feeling them. One church just walked my kids around the building until church was over.

Another one had the special needs part closed one Sunday, Brad had a meltdown, and no one offered any assistance. Usually, Brad gets us attention during meltdowns, whether from an officer, security guard,  an administrator, or other concerned party.  I had to calm him down and then walk both kids home. No point in staying for the sermon.

One of my favorites didn't like me using my Kindle and keyboard to take notes in the sanctuary. We don't do that here said one woman, who was sitting next to me. (Watch Seven Deadly Words on Amazon. It is about a new pastor at a church,, who faced opposition, when he tried to stray from tradition.). The woman definitely won't like my now because I moved to the laptop. Got tired of every Kindle not saving notes when I got a new one. My old notes would not transfer over to the new kindle, with the app, I used, so I decided to type notes using Google Docs.

I got tired of trying new churches and I decided to attempt to catch the bus and walk to my old church one Sunday on Christmas. It was an hour bus ride plus a possible hour walk. Yes it was a challenge but I was determined to stay at my old church until Brad turned 18. We got to the last bus stop before we had to walk the rest of the way. We had to cross over Veterans memorial. Brad wanted McDonald's. Okay no problem. I got cash. we can get McDonald's. That can keep him busy while we walk.

We started walking toward the McDonald's and a problem happened. It was closed for Christmas. Massive meltdown. Massive elopement risk. Kalen was in a stroller. Veterans memorial is a multi-lane, multi-directional road and Brad ran out into this mess. Luckily, no cars were coming along the straightaways, but he almost got hit by a car from the turn lane. I had to literally leave boy 2 in the stroller along with our bags by ditch to chase him. God was with him. I was able to pull him back.

The police was called by someone, who saw the incident.  A church member saw us with the police trying to calm him down and gave us a ride to church and back. My mama gave us rides to church after that until it was no longer feasible to go. ( Brad had a scream fest. Said he was too much to handle. Gave us a ride home and recommended our current Church home)

Current Church

My current Church, while it is not a trap, had one incident where he bolted from the church parking lot, cross the road, and into the building. I had to run in the church, with bags, and a toddler, with one shoe on, to catch him. We did get introduced to a lovely lady who handed us a card for the churches clothing and pantry shelters because of Kalen's shoe issue.

My mother had to start dropping us off directly in front of the church to avoid this issue or on the side in the disabled parking lot.

Aldine Bender/Aldine Westfield.

Another trap, which I never ever want to experience is the Aldine Bender and Westfield Area, where Kalen's school and Brad's former special needs high school is located. The bus stop is on one side of the highway and Burger King, Popeyes , and Wendy's is on the other side highway. Across from Brad's old school is a Sonic and a McDonald's. When I had to drop Brad back off at school after an appointment, I use my niece or a ride share, or just left him home. It's not worth it to attempt to walk this trap through the highway. Sometimes, you get a good bus driver, who will let you off, on the other side, near Wendy's.

Kalen's school called me the other week and wanted me to venture through the trap, by bus, which inspired this post. I could not, in good faith, venture through the trap, with Brad. It was an accident/incident, waiting to happen. I can walk this trap, solo, but not with Brad. Not only, do we have to cross over and avoid fast food, it is a good 15-20 minute walk through the grass and sidewalks. There is also a house, near Kalen's school with a dog. Even if I took the longer route, where I walk down Aldine-Westfield, turn on Aldine-Bender, and turn on the road, next to Kalen's school, I run into McDonalds and Wendy's as I get closer to Lane School (miss that place), which will cause another incident.

What are some Autism traps in your area?

Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day.

Product Reviews I loved, Part 1.

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I been blogging since 2012 and I have reviewing amazing products, whether good or bad. I wanted to honor products, which have stood the test of time. Products, I have continued to use and buy since I entered the blogging world.

Squatty Potty: This was my first successful pitch. I been seeing the commercials and wanted one. The squatty potty is still standing and has changed my bathroom behaviors.

Design Cap Review (Pearl Mountain Technology)

I reviewed Design Cap, in exchange for honest review. I received a premium account for usage.

The app has amazing templates and font designs, but I had serious issues. First, for premade fonts designs, I had issues editing text. You have to double click on the text to change it. I had issues changing layered font designs. I could edit one layer but struggled to edit the other layers. Even when I click on the 2nd or 3rd layer, it would revert back to the first or try to move other images.

2nd, when I downloaded a simple design, it showed a different image than what I had worked on. For example, I created this for a friend of mine.

When I download a png, I received this image. The original words were still on the screen. I tried hitting save after making a few new changes, but received an error saying " Sorry for some reason, we was unable to save the project. Try again".

I also worked on this image. I had troubles aligning the second layer of text to the first. It took some creative clicking but I was able to fix the misaligned text.

Finally, when I closed out the tab and went back in, none of my design was saved in my designs. I would had to start completely over to redo my work. I would not recommend the app, with the errors, I had. I struggled for hours making two images for an Facebook advice segment. The app is free, if you want to try it and work with it. I will still play with it and update this post if I figure a few things out, first.

Ilansley Wax Warmer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I recieved the Ilansley Wax Warmer in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I been interested in the wax warmer kits for a while. I never waxed before. I normally shave or pluck body hairs.

The kit comes with the wax warmer; wide application sticks; small application sticks; pre wax treatment; post wax treatment; 3 bags of aloe vera wax; and a bag of jasmine wax. You also receive a pair of gloves and wax collars (to protect wax from spilling all over).

The aloe vera wax is for coarse body areas, while the jasmine wax is for more sensitive areas, such as facial hair.

I watched youtube videos on how to wax properly. One blogger, who also reviewed this product, said to warm up the wax to 240 degrees, so the wax can melt faster, then turn the temperature down to 160 degrees for application use.

Then, start applying. I have not been a fan of the rip off quickly method. Scares the day lights out of me. I took my time learning how to wax. What I learned was that small, thin strips are best and easier to remove. I can rip those off without too many irritation issues.

When I did bigger, wider strips, they was harder to remove, whether I ripped fast or slow. Another thing, I learned was when I re-waxed areas, the pain was easier to bear.

You can also reheat the used wax. Since this is my warmer and no one else will be using it, I think it is ok.

I was able to use the wax on my legs, arms, and facial hair. The facial hair, I felt, was the worst to remove. It took a few tries to remove most of my mustache and chin hair. I may try again since it should be easier, the next ime.

You can purchase the warmer, using the link or ad above. The wax warmer is prime eligible.

iMustech Green Tea Paper Cups Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Imustech Green Tea paper cups, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. 20 cups come in a sealed bag. The paper cups are similar to a tea infuser. The tea is contained in a food-grade safe, mesh compartment, inside a paper cup. The mesh helps keep the tea leaves from entering your mouth. The cup is made out of virgin, wood pulp and no pollutants. The lining was designed not to release any harmful materials into the water.

The tea contains "strong antioxidants, vitamin b, and vitamin E, which can slow down the aging of the skin and to help moisturize and tighten the skin."

You add hot water to the cup and let it steep. You may also add sweetners, such as sugar or sugar alternatives to the cup.

I made about 3 cups, back to back, using the same loose tea. The tea tastes good, hot or iced.

I do wish the cups was individually sealed, also, as an extra precaution. Make sure to seal the bag, after removing a tea cup. I also would love the tea in extra flavors, such as a black tea, lavender, or a calming, sleep tea, for the kids.

You can purchase the tea cups, using the link above. The cups are prime-eligible.

Oven Art Silicon Pan Review (Tomoson)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I reveiwed OvenArt Silicone Bakeware - Muffin Pan / Cupcake Pan - 12 Cup Muffin Tin - 100% BPA-Free - Nonstick, Easy to Clean Muffin Tray in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the muffin pan because I never used silicon pans before. I have heard great things about silicon bakeware before though.

I was a little skeptical at first, but after the first batch of muffins, I was impressed. The pans are easy to use. Simply spray with non stick spray or whatever you like to use--maybe olive oil or flour and butter.
Place the silicon pans on a baking or cookie sheet. Then fill with batter, whether cupcakes, muffins, or even eggs.

Place in the oven and cook. Take out the oven, let cool, remove your cooking creation goodness from the pan. The pans are also easy to clean.

I have made muffins, cupcakes, and eggs in the pans. I made some peanut butter, oat meal muffins, with a peanut butter, chocolate chip frosting. Then, I made chocolate chip muffins, using chocolate chips and bisquick. Finally, I made eggs with spinach, tomatoes, and panko.

I definitely will continue to buy the pans as needed in the future. Maybe 2-3 more.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My Review

I wanted to review the bracelet because I needed a little positivity throughout the last few weeks, which has been rough. I thought about running away to some remote island for a quick escape. Between school and the divorce and an evil little letter, which arrived in the mail, I just about had enough. Then, I got a phone call from Brad's school saying he messed up his school uniform and back up clothes, all before 9 a.m. I wanted to drop out of school; beat up the ex, and send Brad off to potty training school.

As previously stated, the bracelets come in many colors. The bracelet also contains positivity on a silver background with black lettering.  A simple reminder to remain positive, no matter what you are going through.

Ozeri Instavac Product Review

2014 +Stacie Wyatt Instavac Storage Ozeri
This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I reviewed the Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set, BPA-Free 8-Piece Nesting Set with Vacuum Seal and Locking Lids. I wanted to review because I love food storage containers. I am also tired of food going bad too quick, especially vegetables.

The instavac comes with interesting features:

  • Keeps food fresh without complication. NO pumps or motors. Once you place food in the bin and snap the sides, you simple press down in the center of the lid. Air comes out. There is a little green button, which depresses when the air is out. When you open the container, the green button pops back up.
  • Has a date dial. Simply turn the dial to the current day of month.
  • Wave pattern on the bottom which keeps cut fruit and veggies from water and juices.
  • The containers are microwavable. My son had a great time microwaving the containers lol (see problems section).

For the review, I decided to see how long it would take for Tomatoes and Avocados to go bad in the containers. I bought a few extra to test. The veggies was in the fridge two weeks before going bad. I provided 3 pictures of the veggies gone bad.

2014 @ Stacie D. Wyatt 2 weeks experiment
Problems:

One problem I had was the date dial. The first few times, it was easy to adjust the dial. The next few times, I had serious issues with my fingers moving the dials.

I also had an issue with the green button popping up while in the fridge. Turned out, my son was opening the containers to eat the food. I thought I was losing my mind before discovering what he was up too.

Some relatives, like my son Brad, used my containers as plates, instead of food storage.

Finally, my midget, aka the destructor aka the two year old, aka Kalen, discovered a way to pop off the green button and the date dial on one of the containers.

Ozeri products are sold on Amazon. The instavac is sold in a 8 piece set (4 Instavac food storage containers and lids). The products are prime-eligible.

Christmas Special

Christmas Special: Buy Mind Funk Times 21 by Tai Davis or Emotional Enema by Brigette Hall below, get a discount for 50% off print editions of my books: Love. Lust. Life.; Chocolate Kisses; or Conversations through Createspace store. Provide proof you have bought either book and I will send a code, you can use on one of my books.

Tai is an excellent poet. I love her work. I known her for years. Her poetry is inspiring and uplifting.

Brigette is a PHOENIX and former classmate. I have reviewed part of this book. This is an excellent read from Brigette. I was crying, laughing, and relating. People need to read this book. You will feel a release and a healing.

Mind Funk Times

Book Description:Mind Funk Times 21 is designed to shine a spotlight on things that women experience throughout their lives. Of course, this is not the experience of all but still too many. For those who find this work familiar, this is for you. Some of these are things that remain unacknowledged for an entire lifetime but are a major influence in their lives nonetheless. Covering various subjects such as love, family and mental illness, this work will stir something for its reader and hopefully open a community wide dialogue. The poetry written here is raw, edgy and definitely not for the conservative. It's intended to be thought and emotion provoking. The book is 10.99

Emotional Enema

Book Description: An Emotional Enema... Let That Sh*t Go! is exactly that... A book about letting emotional waste go! Far too often we, or someone we know, hold on to past hurts much longer than we need. Far too often we, or someone we know, miss out on better things looking right at us because we are.... "emotionally constipated!" But where does it all begin? The author takes you on the journey of how she became emotionally constipated, found relief, and finally learned to "Let That Sh*t Go!". The book is 15.95

Conversations

Conversations combines three short stories (Conversing with Salvation, Conversing with Normality, and Miscarried) into a single book. Salvation and Normality discusses conversations I had with myself and God about my oldest child, who is Autistic. Salvation is a conversation with God--How can my child be saved if he may not understand God's goodness and grace. Normality discusses a semi-real conversation I had with Brad on food. Miscarriage is based on me. I had two miscarriages (2005 and 2009). Experienced conflict in emotions. The book is 10 bucks for the print edition on Createspace

Love.Lust.Life
Love.Lust.Life is a book of my poetry, discussing three phases of my life. Love discusses crushes. Lust discusses sexuality. Life discusses well life. The print edition is $20 bucks on CreateSpace.

Chocolate Kisses

Chocolate Kisses is about a former addiction of mine. I wrote a few poems to him over the years (2006 to 2010ish) and decided to make the poetry into a book. I also learned to get over him, while writing this book. So, the book became healing for me. I was too addickted to his penis. The book is $20 on createspace.

Morning Inspiration

I overheard T.D. Jakes this Morning. He was talking about how sometimes even when we grow, we sometimes get stuck in an old mindset, based on our culture and upbringing. The Egyptians wanted to be freed from Pharaoh. Even though they was freed later, Some thought living in slavery was better than living in freedom. They craved old foods, instead of the new Manna. All that complaining kept them stuck in the wilderness for 40 long, long years. The ones who entered the wilderness were not the same ones that came out of the wilderness.

We all are going through something right now. We are human. That's what we do. We all make mistakes. and We all have something to be grateful for daily.

Have a blessed day. --
