Simple One Automatic Touchless Soap Dispenser Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Simple One Automatic Touchless Soap Dispenser, in exchange for honest review. The dispenser runs on 4 AAA batteries. There is also a power button in the back of the unit. I didn't realize a power button was back there at first because Kalen hid the instructions. I put batteries in there and couldn't figure out how to get it to work. I ended up buying new batteries, thinking my other ones maybe ran out of juice. Still had problems until I flipped it over and saw the power button.

Problem solved. I added my soap to test it out and it worked. When you hand is under the unit, soap dispenses out of the unit. This dispenser helped when I was painting my bathroom. I could wash paint off my hands without having to hunt down a bar or a bottle of body wash.

My only issue was my brand new batteries went dead within a week or two, so you have to continually have fresh or rechargeable batteries on hand. Kalen also loved washing his hands, using the soap dispenser. He was fascinated when the blue light came on and soap dispensed.

The link provided to the product on Amazon was a hand sanitizer refill for the unit, instead of the unit. I did some searching and found the product on Ebay.

Can one night lead to forever?

Kassidy Monroe has spent far too many nights alone. But could she actually go through with a one-night stand?

No! At least, that’s her answer until her eyes settle on him—tall, dark, and ultra-mysterious behind a black and platinum mask that makes him even more appealing. It’s lust at first sight, but how far is she willing to go with a man she’s just met?

Jaxon Prescott has always gone after what he wants. And he wants her—the sexy vixen in the feather mask. Something about her calls to him, and he’s all too willing to answer. An invitation to his hotel suite was supposed to be for a night she wouldn’t soon forget, but somehow the tables turn. He never imagines he’d be the one constantly reliving their time together.

One need. One night. One unforeseen outcome.

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Vitamin C Serum By Joy and Karma , in exchange for honest review. As seen in the picture, the serum is 98% natural and 72% organic.

Joy and Karma has created a Vitamin C Serum. The serum is great for moisturizing your face. The moisture helps with the Texas heat, especially in this house with the ac going in and out.

To me, the serum is light weight. I use it on my face and neck. It also has a light scent.

You can purchase the serum, using the link above. The serum is prime-eligible.

#BehindTheBlogger: I can only Imagine

#BehindTheBlogger: I can only Imagine

My whole world

7/29/2014 8:33 a.m.

As I write this, I am sitting in the waiting room for the heart department. Kalen is having a heaart monitor installed to determine if he has long qt syndrome. From what I understand, the heart pulses and pauses. When the pause is longer than normal, it can cause heart problems, not to mention death. Kalen is the king of normal test results. Even though he has problems, he always passes his tests with normal results, leaving the doctors to figure out alternative ways to figure out if he has additional diagnoses.

The theme of this post is I can only imagine. I have an active imagination. My mind wanders from the subdued to the insane. When I saw the title, I thought of Mercy Me's song, I can only Imagine.

What can I imagine today?

I can imagine Brad can use the potty, eliminating the need for me to buy pull-ups. He has been approved for Medicaid to help him pay for his medical supplies, but if he would just go on the potty, it would be a lifesaver.

I can imagine me with increased income and a nice, 1 story, 2 -3 bedroom house, 2 bathrooms, with a fenced in front and backyard, just in case the brats try to escape.

I can imagine a husband, who will help me with these special needs kids. I know love is important, but I could use companionship and help with the kids more.

I can imagine me on a Carnival Cruise, drinking at the bar, in a place called Serenity, where no kids are allowed at all. Just me and my daiquiri.

I can imagine Texas building a space for low functioning special needs kids. Some days, Brad acts a plum fool and I can't control him at all, even with meds. My bruises have almost healed snce the last #Behind the blogger post. He needs help but I don't want to sit at a crisis management center for over 24 hours, each time, he gets out of control, only to tell me they can't do anything.

I can imagine a nice cup of hot cocoa right now with marshmallows and some biscotti on the side.

9:13 p.m.

and I can definitely imagine my kids sleep right now. It's been a long day.

The Lost Bible Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read The Lost Bible: An Adventure Paranormal Novel (Mystery & Action Fiction), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by L. Roseman. The book's genre is fiction. In the book, Hanna searches for a lost Gutenberg bible.

The first page of the book, Hanna is unemployed and looking for a job.

You can purchase the book in paperback, kindle, and kindle unlimited format. The book is prime-eligible.

The Chalk Block Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received The Chalk Block - Gym Chalk for Gymnastics, Lifting, and Climbing, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I never used chalk blocks before, but I love the many uses chalk has. From simple chalk on a chalk board or walls to helping you grip your weights better.

The chalk does crumble and break easy, but it does help reduce sweat on your weights. Kalen also took a broken piece of the chalk and drew on the walls. The chalk was hard to vacuum out of my floor. I recently dyed my carpets black and the chalk stuck to one particular area. Thank you for the rug attachment.

You can purchase the product, using the link above. The chalk block is prime-eligible.

The Magic of Friendship Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read the The Magic of Friendship by Subhash Kommuru, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book features two characters: Babbar the tiger and Hasmukh, a donkey. You also have birds named Captain and Choto and a blue bird called Ullu. The book is based in India near the Tadoba Forest.

In the book, the birds are flying south for the winter, but the birds worry about running into Babbar, a tiger, who the other animal are afraid of. Babbar has a roar, which has an interesting effect on animals. The book has a lesson, which you learn throughout the book: everyone needs a friend, no matter how scary they are perceived to be. I also loved the graphics in the book .

You can purchase the book on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format. The book is prime-eligible.

Words you will come across:

Passport to Purity Program (FlyBy Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: I received the Passport to Purity program in exchange for honest review.

I received the Passport 2 Purity kit, in exchange for honest review from FlyBy Blog Promotions. Passport 2 Purity is a purity program for preteens. You will receive a parents guide, the cds, and a journal for your preteen. Purity is not just sex, but your soul and mind.

For me, my parents  and family never discussed sex. It was taboo. When my cousin got pregnant as a teenager, she was shipped off to my grandma house (where I lived) to live until she had her baby. When my sister got pregnant with her now teenage child, my grandma put a serious whipping on her. We had told her Rachel was having sex (steaming up windows in a car in the front yard), but she didn't believe us until Rachel came up missing. My grandma called the police and said my sister was kidnapped, when she was having sex with the ex.

When my niece got pregnant with Sariyah, she was pulled out of school and homeschooled under my youngest sister direction, who also got pregnant as a teenager.  I think she was 17 or 18.

I also got pregnant at 19. My only difference was I was married to my ex. My ex was the third person, I ever had sex with. I didn't have sex until I went off to college. I knew nothing about sex and wanted to know more. I started off as tame, but became promiscuous during the last few months of marriage and continued for a few years afterward until I became celibate. I have not had sex since November 2010.

My family has a wide array of females, who got pregnant as a teenager, including my great grandma. We also have a history of single parents. I don't want my kids, my great niece, or nephew to repeat the pattern because it is the norm here. This is why I wanted to review the Passport 2 Purity Kit.

The kit comes with cds for teaching boys and girls about abstaining until marriage to have sex. The kit is from a Christian perspective. There are scriptures in the CDS. I do recommend finding an application to listen to the cds on your computer. I had to tell my computer to use media player because the cds would not play at first.

The purpose of  the kit is to plan a weekend or a weekday (s) to sit down and discuss sex with your kids.

Disc 1 is the parents guide and how to begin the journey. Disc 2 is called running with the herd. Disc 3 is two sessions geared towards girls and Disc 4 is two sessions geared towards boys. The sessions are called Ready for an upgrade. Disc 6 has one session for boys and one session for girls (Optional). Disc 7 is called crossing the date line.  Disc 8 contains 9 tracks with scripture memory songs and mp3 files of sessions. Disc 5 is called Destination Le Pure.

Start with the parents guide book and follow with the parents guide DVD. You also have an insert, which is a checklist for a P2P weekend.

Rid Tech Pest Repellent Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I recieved Rid-Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller - Repells Rodents and Insects, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Rid-tech is an electronic pest controller. I wanted to try out the device in the kitchen to help repel roaches, mosquitos, ants, and other pests. The device did not repel flies though. You simply plug in the unit and it starts working.

For this house, the kitchen is coming apart. There are holes under the cabinets and behind the stove for pests to habitat in without us knowing. There is also a major hole under the sink cabinet, which s pushing out insulation outside and allowing strange bugs to come in the house. The other day, we found a dead pink polka dotted lizard like creature.

Rid-tech did help repel ants and roaches though when it was plugged in. When it was not plugged in, we had an increase in pests, but not as bad.

Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelets

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet, in exchange for honest review. I wanted these for my toddlers (son and great niece), who love to play outside, but subject to mosquito bites The bracelets was easy to put on and lock into place. The bracelets were also easy to remove. I liked how the bracelets were easy to adjust. You have holes and a white button like adjuster unit. You press the white button into the slot. Some times, it takes a few tries to keep the button in place.

The bracelets do have a smell. It is strong at first, but does die down  The bracelets are also all natural and contain essential oils: Citronella, Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Mint. I don't have to worry about using a spray or stick, which contains chemicals.

The bracelets do not work for any other bugs, except mosquitos. The bracelets do not work each and every time though. On some days, the kids played with no bites and others, Kalen was bit from head to toe.

You can purchase the bracelets, using the link above.

Audiosharp Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Headphones

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pmc08801e8fe6cc49c3f4c80588829282a. This post also contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Audiosharp AS1206 Wireless Bluetooth V4.0 Lightweight Headsets Earpieces with Microphone Mic and Volume Control, in exchange for honest review. The headphones are very interesting.

You have the bluetooth ear pieces and the ear holders. The ear holders can be disconnected from the headphones, if needed. You also have to charge both ear pieces. Usually with bluetooth headphones, you charge one ear piece, but in this case, you can charge two. The ear pieces do work individually or together.

Audiosharp also developed another interesting feature for the headphones. The ear pieces connect to each other via a wire, as well. The charger, which comes with it, has two micro usb ports, so you can charge both ear pieces at the same time.

The headphones was easy to pair with my phone, computer, and kindle. The only issue, I had was Kalen partially broke the piece you stick in your ear from the device. It still works though.

I still love the features, which come with the product. The ability to charge both ear pieces at the same time. The wire, which connects both pieces together. The detachable ear holder parts. Very innovative. The sound also comes in crisp and clear. It does automatically connect though. I am not the type of person to answer the phone all the time. I normally listen to music with headphones, whether wired or bluetooth. Maybe I watch a movie or edit a video to block out the kids. I had a few phone calls come in, while I was the clinic for an appointment for Kalen. The calls came in clear as well.

You can purchase Audiosharp's AS1206, using the link above. The headphones are prime-eligible.

Audio Sharp AS1217 Wired Headphones Review

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links. Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pme3c87529e817b9f8468c02ee8c81ed89

I received Audiosharp AS1217 Ultimate Noise Isolating In Ear Headphones with Super Enhanced Bass Metal Housing, in exchange for honest review from Giveaway Service. I love headphones, whether wired or wireless bluetooth technology. What made these stand out was the wires were thin and made out of copper. I definitely have to hide these from the kids, since they easily break everything.

The headphones also came with a carrying case and extra ear buds. The sound on the phones comes in crisp and clear. I also like the noise isolation feature.

I don't like a lot of noise, especially when it comes to writing and cleaning. Sometimes, I lose my mind when I have to write something, maybe for a blog post, and the kids have the tv on Disney, while Brad is watching Youtube on my phone or Kalen's tablet. Maybe I am doing a video review and need to listen to the playback, but distracted by whatever the kids are doing. I have on plenty of occasions, turned off the television, threw my phone in a drawer, just so I can focus on what I need to focus on.

The noise isolation feature is a good feature.

You can purchase the headphones on Amazon, using the link above. Audiosharp AS1217 is prime-eligible.
