Ander Blake Incredimarkers review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Incredimarkers, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The markers are sold by Ander Blake. I received a set of 8 colors: yellow, white, pink, orange, blue, green, red, and purple.

I used the markers to write to do lists on my desk. I also used them to label my bins to identify the contents.

To use the markers, you shake the markers first. Then, press the tip down until the liquid chalk, reaches the end, and decorate away. Maybe you want to label something instead.

I recommend using a scratch sheet of paper or an empty area of your desk to press the tip on, just in case too much comes out.

You can purchase the markers on Amazon, using the link above. The markers are prime-eligible.

The Emperor, Who Built the Great Wall Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read The Emperor Who Built The Great Wall, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Jillian Lin. The book is for early readers. Children, who can read bigger words and longer sentences.

The book is about a young emperor, named Qin (13 years old), who was king of the Qin Dynasty in China. He wanted fame and set about to conquer the other dynasties in China. Qin also became the first emperor of China. He became powerful and strict. The book said Qin melted down weapons and killed people, who broke the law. He also wanted the country to use the same currency and same system of writing.

He also helped build The Great Wall in China. You can read more about Qin and his accomplishments in the book.

The book also has great images, with maps included.

I liked reading the book, more so for myself, than the kids. I would have never thought a 13 year old, would accomplish so much, let alone be given that much power.

At  the end of the book, the author provides extra information about the emperor and China. The book also has a mini quiz.

You can purchase the book on Amazon, using the link above. The book is available in Kindle and Paperback format.

Dating the Wrong Men Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read Dating the Wrong Men: The Misadventurer's Guide Through Bad Relationship Choices. in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Kelly Rossi.

I hate dating, with a passion. I married the first boyfriend, because I didn't want to go through that process over again, even though the red flags were there. As of now, I haven't had sex or dated in over 4 years. Then again, I never really dated. I had sex mostly. Now, I am in that struggle, where I am waiting until I get married again to have sex, which limits potential dating partners. Many people want to test drive the goodies before saying I do.

Whenever I do start this dating thing, I want to do it the right way. My circumstances changed a lot in the last few years. My income comes from blogging and books versus seasonal jobs. I have two special needs kids, who both live with me. They have plenty of ARD meetings and doctors appointments to keep me busy until school starts back in August. Of course, summer means ESY (extended school year) for both kids this year. And of course, my goodies, my goodies, will stay locked in the jar until marriage. As I got older, my standards have changed. Things, I used to accept, I will not accept anymore. Like, I don't do crushes anymore. All my crushes have been completely wrong for me. One crush, who I lived with for a few months, is now in jail for child molestation. Another former crush rejected me twice. There will not be a third time.

In the book, Rossi discusses her experiences dating the wrong  men and how her standards have also changed with her experiences. The first story, she discussed an abusive, control freak, who was doing extra to see how she will respond for a screen play. He also put his hands around her neck. I'm so glad, Rossi was able to escape him and his drama. She also provides signs of an abusive, control freak, for your reference. Rossi also provides resource numbers, to call, if you need help.

Rossi also discusses alcoholism and an ex's death. Other topics include cheating, divorce, rebound relationships, timing, fear of commitment, and playing games in relationships. Her stories are funny and insightful. She also provides the signs to look for with each scenario.

You can purchase the book on Amazon in Kindle (free for Kindle Unlimited) and Paperback format.

Please note, the kindle edition has no table of contents, so no hyper-linking and no jumping around to the chapters, which I have experiences with

EverKitchen Lemon Squeezer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

half a lemon in lemon squeezer

Lemon squeezer

Ever Kitchens Lemon Sq

I received 2in1 Lemon Squeezer & Cap Opener, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The product was designed by Ever Kitchen. You can squeeze juice from smaller fruit such as lemons and oranges, but also open a bottle of soda or beer. The product was easy to use and I had no issues with it.

The bottle cap opener addition is good for this house. I don't know how many times, the family has looked for a bottle opener and we did not have one. I reviewed some ginger brew a few weeks ago and twisted the caps off, same with some liquor I had. A cap opener would have saved some time.

You can purchase EverKitchen's 2-in-1 squeezer and bottle cap opener on Amazon, using the link above. The squeezer is prime-eligible.

In the video, I show me squeezing a lemon into a pan of fruit. I am cooking frozen fruit, water, and sugar down into a syrup for a great dessert. Fruit with a homemade syrup.

Dulce de Leche Cupcakes. Bananas and Waffles before sauce poured

I received Sunsella Little Gems - Silicone Baking Cups - 12 Pack, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I wanted to review the cupcake cups for baking in the toaster oven (since oven is not working right now). The cupcake liners are a great way to cook cupcakes, cornbread, and other creations, without too much mess.

The liners are also easy to clean.

I used the cups to make a citrus cupcake with a citrus syrup, yellow cake mix, and pineapples on top.

I also made a dulce de leche, peanut butter, and chocolate bunny sauce to pour over bananas and waffle pieces in the cups. mmm mmm good. This was a frozen treat.

You can purchase Sunsella little gems and other Sunsella products on Amazon, using the link above. The little gems are prime-eligible.

Instacandi Review (Tomoson)

I received Instacandi,, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Instacandi is a service, which sends candy packages to yourself or a friend. All packages are 9.99 plus shipping. Whether you are cheering someone up or celebrating a birthday, Instacandi is a wonderful pick me up.

When my package arrived, I just got home from taking Kalen to a genetics appointment. I left the house at 7:45 a.m. and didn't get home until just before 7 p.m. I was tired and cranky. I came home to my room messed up, thanks to my oldest son and great niece. My pillows were off my bed. I had product reviews thrown here and there, even down the hallway. I went to the mailbox and picked up my UPS packages. Threw everything on the bed, so I can finish my food from the hospital and start cleaning up. I had to share what little I had with 3 other people, even though two of them had ate before I got here.  When I opened the package, I was happy. I needed a candy rush. My youngest son and I had fun over two days. My birthday was the next day.

The only thing, I did not like was all the glitter, confetti, happy faces, that was included in the package. Ok, I loved the hearts, I saved those for a craft project. When I opened the candy, the glitter went everywhere: my bed; behind my bed; and the floor. My vacuum did not like me after that.

The candy ranges from Twizzlers to Peanut Butter Cups to Laffy Taffy, Starburst, Hershey' mini's, Jolly Ranchers, Mary Janes, Haribo, 3 musketeers, and so forth. I choose the sweet treats package. You can hear more about Instacandi and the packages offered in the video below and on the website, listed above.

No Tie Elastic Laces Review (Tomoson)

No Tie Laces

I received the No Tie Shoelaces FAST MILE, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The No Tie Laces was created by FastMile.  You receive a pack of 3 no tie laces.

I wanted to review the laces to save time in the mornings. My oldest son, Brad, is Autistic and ADHD. He is 14 years old and can not tie his shoes. Putting his shoes on has taken more than 30 minutes before. We have to put on the shoes (and risk my hands and feet being stepped on). Then, I tie his laces multiple times before the bus comes. The process is tiring and the no tie laces have saved me valuable time, that we can fuss and fight about everything else, he doesn't want to put on (pants, shirt, soap, socks, belt,)

The first time, I used the laces, it took me a minute because I put the bells on backwards. With each kit, you get 2 laces, two push down units, and 2 bells, which goes over the knots you tie towards the end. You also get instructions. I put the bells on backwards and they could not go over the knot.  I had to untie the knot and start over. I also had issues pressing down the push down unit long enough to slide the laces through. After a few tries, your finger pads will start hurting.

Once I finished the brown shoes, I had to wait until Brad got home from school to see if he can put on the shoes without my assistance and he did it. I worked on the blue shoes a few days later. These are his two favorite pairs of shoes with laces. Before, I actively sought out velcro shoes, but velcro, at Payless, for a men's shoe, started at $30. Whew that's a lot of money for a shoe, which may not last long. Brad can wear (and tear) a shoe out with the best of them. From ripped out regular laces to open mouth shoes, to the leather coming off.

You can purchase a 3 pack using the link above.

In the first video, I demonstrate how to swap out your regular laces for the no tie laces. In the second video, my son, Brad, aka #BradtheBad, puts on a pair of his shoes, without my assistance.

Innovative Balance B-12 Energy Patches Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Innovative Balance's Vitamin B-12 Energy Patch , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The patch helps provide Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid. The patches also help increase energy. The medicine is released into your system slow.

To me, the patches are slow acting, but the energy lasts for hours, which I need. Like, the other day, I used a patch, as soon as I woke up. The energy helped me get through some cleaning.Spring Break is officially over. Monday and Tuesday, I had to take a nap because I was so tired. Wednesday, I used a patch to help me clean the game room/Brad's bedroom, the bathroom, and my room. I had improved clarity and that boost helped me get a lot of work done before Kalen got home at 1130.

To use, you place the patch behind your ear.

According to Innovative Balance's website, the benefits of B12 include:

  1. Improves energy
  2. Builds red blood cells
  3. Creates new healthy cells
  4. Helps protect against certain cancers
  5. Protects against heart disease
  6. Helps prevent Alzheimer's
  7. Improves energy levels
  8. Helps metabolism
  9. Helps with depression
  10. Regulation of blood pressure
  11. Fights bad cholesterol
  12. Prevents strokes
I definitely need help with energy and metabolism. When you body lacks B12, you can experience fatigue, instability, blurry vision, depression, anxiety, and mood swings, according to the website. You can check out the website for more information about B12.

You can also purchase the patches, using the link above. The patches come in a set of 8.

Smooth Energy Clear Mind Liquid Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Ginseng LiquidCaps: SMOOTH ENERGY CLEAR MIND  in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The liquid caps help improve mental clarity and energy. The capsules also helps relieve stress and increases libido (according to Amazon).

The product is vegan. It also contains no preservatives and it is not genetically modified. The capsules also do not contain preservatives.

To use the capsule, you can either hold under tongue for faster absorption or take with some water.

I need the energy to deal with my special needs kids. I get up at 630, 6 days per week, sometimes 7. I don't get to bed until sometime after midnight (1, 2, 3, 4, a.m.). I need energy to clean and to get kids ready for school. I need energy to deal with them after they get home from school. I fall asleep and my things get thrown around and broke.

Now, the capsule is not the best tasting once it starts dissolving, if you use the under the tongue method. I recommend keeping a bottle of water near by. I do get a small burst of energy.

You can purchase the capsules on Amazon in a sheet of 1, 2, or 3. Each sheet contains 10 capsules. It is best to take 1 in the morning and 1 before bed. You also can take as needed throughout the day..
