Ozeri Kandle Flex Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Kandle by Ozeri (Canada), in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. The Kandle was created by Ozeri. The Kandle is a battery powered light for your kindle. The Kandle fits 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation kindles, plus some other e book readers. With the Kandle, you also get a pouch plus two extra batteries.

The light comes with 3 modes: off, low-light, and a high light. The Kandle's neck also is adjustable to your needs.

I had no issues with the Kandle. I like how it can help me read at night, when I don't want to turn on the main light or the lamps. I have had a few issues getting the clip on piece to stay. You have to open it up some. The sides of my kindle are thick. I found it easier to clip it to the kindle case, versus the kindle.

You also can purchase the Kandle by Ozeri Flex Reading Light in Black  on the Amazon US as well.

Ozeri Wok Review (Moderna Housewares)

Fried Shrimp, my niece cooked

I received the 12-Inch Green Earth Wok by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick Coating (100% PTFE and PFOA Free), in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. The wok is great for deep frying, such as my niece cooked shrimp in the wok.

I also made peach pancakes in the wok, using fresh peaches.

Peach Pancakes

The pancakes is a simple sugar, flour, and water recipe. Then, I added peaches into the mix. The pancakes didn't turn out as flat or as pretty as I wanted, but the pancakes was tasty, especially with a little butter and syrup.

Other relatives have used the wok for fried chicken, pork chops, and other items, which I can't remember :-).

Ozeri Pedometer Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images

I received the Ozeri 4x3razor Pocket 3D Pedometer and Activity Tracker with Bosch Tri-Axis Technology from Germany, Blue, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. I received this product in exchange for honest review. The pedometer also comes with a replacement battery, screw driver, and lanyard. The device does track steps. I had an issue within the first few days, where the battery went dead. It came back to life within a few days as well, Then , I remembered the replacement battery. Other than that, the device works as expected

The pedometer tracks steps, distance, calories, fat burned, and time exercised. It also can track up to a million steps with 7 day memory. The pedometer also comes with a built in clock, sports timer, and auto sleep technology.

You can purchase the pedometer on Amazon using the link above. The pedometer is prime-eligible.

Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan Review (Moderna Housewares)

I received this product in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan - Adjustable Oscillating Tower Fan with Noise Reduction Technology, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. I have reviewed other Ozeri fans and products before. I loved the design on this fan and the control panel cover.

The first issue was the fan took over 20 minutes to put together. I had issues with figuring out the base. The instructions was not too clear.

The next issue was shortly after I put the fan together, my youngest knocked it over and the control panel cover broke off.

Other than that, the fan has 3 modes, with 3 speeds. The fan also comes with a remote control with AAA batteries. The remote control is easy to use. The fan also come with night mode, which only can be turned on with the fan. I have not figured if night mode was possible with the remote. With night mode, you can dim the control panel to show just the symbol for night mode.

The fan also shows the current temperature.

Other than that, I have not had any issues with the fan so far.

VIDEO DEMONSTRATION

The video shows me unpacking the fan and putting it completely together. Finally, it shows me operating the controls.

You can purchase the fan and other Ozeri Products on Amazon. The fan is prime-eligible.

Ozeri 3X Tower Fan Review (Ozeri)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Ozeri 3x Tower Fan (44") with Passive Noise Reduction Technology in exchange for honest review from Ozeri. I wanted to review the fan as a replacement to another Ozeri Fan, which went out and now started back working, once my 3 year old, banged it a few times lol.

The fan consists of 3 tower fans, which can be individually turned on or off. The fan also comes with 3 speeds; a remote control; 3 modes of operation; and a spin mode. The fan also comes with a timer. The fan is not quiet either.

Next, the fan has a shift button, which allows you to turn each fan off. Once all three are off, the fan is off.

The fan was easy to assemble (see video) and easy to operate, but I did have issues.

First, the screw at the bottom, which connects the base and tower, keeps coming loose. The fan will start leaning when the screw moves. No matter how tight I adjust the screw, it still comes loose. The fan has toppled over multiple times a day.

Next, the fan collects dust. I have not figured out how to clean the dust out yet.

Third, I knocked one of the pegs at the base off when I was carrying the fan down the steps. The knob hit a step and it came off. Hasn't been seen since. I do wonder how to knock over the rest, so it will be flat against the floor.

Other than that, the fan works great. The air circulates and cools the room. You can purchase the fan on Amazon. The fan is prime eligible.

Ozeri 4X3 Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer Review (Moderna Housewares)

I received Ozeri 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology, in Black, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares.

I received the Ozeri 4X 3 digital pocket pedometer in exchange for honest review. The pedometer does keep total track of all your steps, plus steps for the week and day. What I did not like was a few times, the pedometer "blanked" out, but when it came back, all the steps was not erased. I also love the lanyard, which comes with the pedometer. I got my niece to help with tying the loop, and I wear the pedometer around my neck when I am walking.Other than that, I had no issues with the product .

I also put it in my pocket or attach it to my purse to track my steps.

Ozeri Turtlemeter Bath toy and thermometer (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Turtlemeter, the Baby Bath Floating Turtle Toy and Bath Tub Thermometer, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. The turtlemeter was created by Ozeri. I wanted to review the product because when my youngest always had issues with the tub. He would scream, no matter the temperature. I bought a baby thermometer. Even though the temperature read the perfect temperature, he would still scream. I finally had to start bathing with him, which calms him down. But when he is bathing alone, he still runs from the water and soap, but he will hold a towel.

The turtlemeter is part toy and part thermometer. My two year old has carried the toy all over the house, but it also helps me determine the perfect temperature. Red means too hot. Blue means too cold. Green means perfect.

The product is sold on Amazon. The turtlemeter is also prime eligible.

Ozeri Weight Master Product and Video Review (Moderna Housewares)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I reviewed Ozeri WeightMaster II 440 lbs Digital Bath Scale with BMI and Weight Differential Detection, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares.

What set this scale apart from other scales was the scale not only tracked your weight but your body mass. The scale also provided a visual reminder of weight losses or gains. The scale lights up red if you gained and green if you lost weight. It also tracks your weight from the last 30 weigh-ins.

Another feature is you can save multiple profiles. You can enter in your height and weight and save it to a profile. The set-up was easy. I was up and running within minutes.

Ozeri Artesio Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder Product Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links

I reviewed the Artesio Soft Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder, by Ozeri, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. I had previously reviewed the Ozeri Duo Mill Grinder. The Duo was manual-powered, while the Artesio is battery-powered.

The Artesio is powered with 4 AA batteries. The Artesio also grinds salt and pepper. The only thing I did not like about the Artesio was there is no cover on the bottom. You will need to grind onto vessel (hand, bowl, pot, pan, plate, etc) to catch/contain the salt or pepper.

Assembly was also a little tricky since my 3 year old opened the box, tore up the directions and took it apart before I even got a chance to look over everything. I figured everything out quickly. Check out the video for more details, including me misaligning the components and spilling salt over my floor. Then, a battery fell out in the process lol.

Ozeri Serafino Doubled Wall Insulated Beverage and Coffee Glasses Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Ozeri Serafino Double Wall Insulated Beverage and Coffee Glasses, 12-Ounce, Set of 4, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares.

I wanted to review Serafino because the glasses are doubled-walled. The glass will still feel cool on the outside, despite the temperature of the drink on the inside.

I ran the glassware through a few tests and Serafino passed. Juice with ice. Hot chocolate. Tap water. The temperature of the outside glass did not change.

I did lose one of the cups during the review process. The toddler wanted something to drink and reached for a glass and it broke. RIP.

I reviewed Green Earth Frying Pan 3-Piece Set by Ozeri (8", 10", 12"), with Textured Ceramic Non-Stick Coating from Germany (100% PTFE and PFOA Free), in response to a campaign from Moderna Housewares. I had previously reviewed the 8 inch pan . I loved the 8 inch pan and wanted to review the bigger pans.

The family put the pans to the test. We had 8 in pan for eggs, bacon, and quick items. The bigger pans was used for meat and sauces.

The pans also came with protective covers, which protect the pans from scratches.

The pans performed well. They was easy to clean, even when my sister burnt something in them. They are environmentally friendly. When I ever get my own place, I am grabbing my four pans and taking them with me.

Ozeri 360 Degree Tower Fan Product/Video Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate links. I was not compensated for this review, other than the free fan.

Video is available on Amazon and Youtube

I reviewed Ozeri 360 Oscillation Tower Fan, with Micro-Blade Noise Reduction Technology, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. The fan was a lifesaver. My room gets too hot. I am done with regular fans with blades. 3 broke ones in the past year. My mini box fan did not do the room justice either, so I gave it to my mama.

The fan comes with multiple functions. You can change the mode (how the air blows); speed; turn angles (0, 60, 90, 120, 360). You also can put the fan in auto mode, which lets the fan adjust the settings as needed. The fan also has a sleep mode, which runs the fan on the slowest speeds.

On the downside, my children can operate  and unplug it. They also un-leveled the base. Thank goodness for the screws and it went back in place.

Installation

The fan was easy to install. The box came with the fan and the base. You do have to snap the base together. Make sure you slide the power cord through one side of the base before snapping it into the other half.

Then, you simply screw in the screws at the bottom of the base.

Finally, you plug in your fan.

The Remote

The fan comes with a remote. Comes in handy when you are lying in bed and don't want to get up. The fan also has storage, at the back, for the remote. The fan has all the features of manual operation plus a dimming mode, which turns the display mostly off (the mode will still be visible.)

Ozeri Duo Salt and Pepper Mill and Grinder Product Review (Moderna Housewares)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate links and images.

I reviewed Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper Mill and Grinder, Stainless Steel, in exchange for honest review from Moderna Housewares. I wanted to review the mill and grinder to grind my fancy salts.

I tried to figure out the device without reading the instructions. I failed. Read the instructions lol. The bottom piece has multiple uses: to hold the salt and pepper at the bottom; and a funnel to add salt and pepper at the top.

The bottom also hides the controls, which adjusts the fineness or coarseness of the flakes.

The top helps grind the flakes, while the plastic piece keeps the flakes from falling out through the top.

Check out the video for how to use the salt and pepper mill and grinder.

The product is sold on Amazon and is prime-eligible.

Ozeri Instavac Product Review

2014 +Stacie Wyatt Instavac Storage Ozeri

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I reviewed the Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set, BPA-Free 8-Piece Nesting Set with Vacuum Seal and Locking Lids. I wanted to review because I love food storage containers. I am also tired of food going bad too quick, especially vegetables.

The instavac comes with interesting features:

• Keeps food fresh without complication. NO pumps or motors. Once you place food in the bin and snap the sides, you simple press down in the center of the lid. Air comes out. There is a little green button, which depresses when the air is out. When you open the container, the green button pops back up.
• Has a date dial. Simply turn the dial to the current day of month.
• Wave pattern on the bottom which keeps cut fruit and veggies from water and juices.
• The containers are microwavable. My son had a great time microwaving the containers lol (see problems section).

•

For the review, I decided to see how long it would take for Tomatoes and Avocados to go bad in the containers. I bought a few extra to test. The veggies was in the fridge two weeks before going bad. I provided 3 pictures of the veggies gone bad.

2014 @ Stacie D. Wyatt 2 weeks experiment

Problems:

One problem I had was the date dial. The first few times, it was easy to adjust the dial. The next few times, I had serious issues with my fingers moving the dials.

I also had an issue with the green button popping up while in the fridge. Turned out, my son was opening the containers to eat the food. I thought I was losing my mind before discovering what he was up too.

Some relatives, like my son Brad, used my containers as plates, instead of food storage.

Finally, my midget, aka the destructor aka the two year old, aka Kalen, discovered a way to pop off the green button and the date dial on one of the containers.

Ozeri products are sold on Amazon. The instavac is sold in a 8 piece set (4 Instavac food storage containers and lids). The products are prime-eligible.
