#Barillio Shaker Set Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate

I received the Barillio shaker set, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The set contained bottle pourers, a muddler, a dual digger, a spoon, and a 3 piece shaker set (shaker bottom, lid, and lid top). You also recieved a carrying bag and a book of recipes.

I nevrer used a shaker set before and was willing to learn. I needed a few tricks up my sleeve before Christmas break showed up. I youtubed a few videos on how to use a shaker, how to muddle, and a few recipes.

I made a version of a lemon drop, I saw on a food website. My recipe had vodka, lemon, lime, simple syrup, and mint. What I learned was not to make the simple syrup too thick or it's hard to remove from the shaker bottle. Soaking the shaker in hot water helped remove any residual syrup. I added the lemons, limes, and some of the mint to the top of the drink as a garnish. Tasted good for my fiirst use.

You can purchase the shaker set, using the link above. The set is prime-eligible.

Kuuk Onion Chopper Review (Tomoson)

The chopper also comes apart easily to clean. The top butterflies out so you can clean it better as well. To use, you may need to cut the vegetable into halves or quarters to fit into the cup. Once the veggie is inside the cup, you press down on the top until the veggie is the size you want.

I received Enlightened Ambience 60 Watt Antique Edison Style Light Bulb Medium base(E 26) Dimmable Set of 4, in exchange for honest and unbiased review. The light bulbs come in a set of four. The bulbs come in a box enclosed in top and bottom foam for protection. The bulbs are a reproduction of the 1906 light bulb, designed by Thomas Edison.

The inside is a tungsten squirrel cage vertical filament. The glass is also hand blown. The bulbs can dim down to 25 watts with a maximum wattage of 60 watts.

I used the light bulbs in the bathroom as a test. The previous light bulb was an energy efficient coil light bulb. The lights were bright and gave off an orange glow, which balanced well with my orange walls and ceiling.

Click and Play Kids Pretend Cleaning Set Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Click n' Play 10 Piece Kids Pretend Play Cleaning Set, Water Bucket, Cleaning Agent Bottles, Broom, Mop, Duster, Wet Floor Sign, Brush and Dustpan in exchange for honest review. I got this for my son and great niece. They had fun playing with the set. I do wish the sticks were a little longer to accommodate a toddler's height. My son is 4 yrs old, 3 ft 2 and had to bend down a little bit to use. The wet floor sign got wet and was damaged. I also accidently broke off part of the duster, which connects to the stick. The kids still try to dust around the house without the stick attached

You can purchase the set, using the link above. The set is prime-eligible.

Click and Play Alphabet #PuzzleMat Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Click N' Play, Alphabet and Numbers Foam Puzzle , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I received a set of 36 letters and numbers. Each tile is part puzzle (frame) and there is a removable letter or number in the middle. You will need a huge space to lay the puzzle out. The puzzle took me about an hour because I had distractions aka toddlers. My nephew helped put the tiles together with me.

Of course with kids, a simple puzzle turned into war because the minor brats decided to have a puzzle tile fight later on. I was glad I got my pictures taken before the war started.

For activities, I thought of pointing to each letter or number and teaching the kids this way. I also have removed the middle letters and numbers and asked the kids to place it back. Both of my kids IEPS have puzzles included as a goal to improve fine motor skills, so this mat is perfect.

You can purchase the puzzle mat, using the link above. The mat is prime-eligible.

Kuuk Potato Slicer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Kuuk Potato Chipper, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The potato chipper came with the back part broken off, but the chopper part still worked. To use, you can place a cooked or raw potato in the chipper and press the lever down. The potatoes come out through the blades.

The blades are hard to clean though. The chipper comes with two sets of blades. To change out the blades, you pull the old blade out by the ring on the side. On one side of the blade, you have two notches, which faces up when inserting into the chipper. The side with one notch goes on the bottom.

Life Defender Water Purifier Straw Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Life Defender Straw, in exchange for honest review. The straw helps purify water, no matter the source. Maybe you are out camping or hiking. Maybe your tap water needs improvement.

The straw comes with caps on both ends to protect the straw and insides from germs. The insides, also have no moving parts.

On one end, you have the part you drink out of. It does require a little pressure to get it started, but after that, it flows easier. The other end is the water purification side. The water flows through the inside and come out cleaner and tasting better.

I liked the straw for my tap water. Definitely improved the taste.

You can purchase the straw on Amazon, using the link above. The straw is prime-eligible.

Rany Zany Rain Boots Review (Tomoson)

I received Rany Zany Boots, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review these for Kalen. I chose a size bigger so he can grow into them. He currently wears a size 8 shoe and the rain boots are a size 9.

Rany Zany makes adorable boots for boys and girls. The boy boots come in a variety of styles, including dinos, robots, and even the super stripes, seen above.

The rain boots are very comfortable. I also like the little handles at the top of each boot. Kalen also can put them on and off by his self. The sizes vary from toddler to big kids sizes.

Kalen loves his boots. He enjoys taking them on and off. The shoes have provided a valuable learning skill since he wants to put on these shoes. He also has started trying to put on his regular tennis shoes.

You can purchase the boots on Rany Zany's site, using the link above.

In the video below, Kalen is seen playing with one of the rain boots.

The Roots Naturelle Hair Oil Moisturizer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received The Roots Naturelle Premium Hair Oil Moisturizer , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The product is a hair oil moisturizer and a leave-in conditioner. I wanted this product for me, who suffers from dry scalp and itchiness. Even though, I don't have hair, I still need moisturizer.

I also have used the product on Kalen, my niece, and great niece.

The moisturizer contains shea butter and caster oil. It also leaves your hair feeling soft and moisturized. For my head and kids head, I used very little. For my niece, I had to use more since she has a million bags of weave in her scalp.

The moisturizer also gives your head a shine, if you have a shaved head.

Mickey Maston: Pirates Code review (Flyby Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by Flyby Blog Promotions.

I recieved Mickey Matson:Pirate Code, in exchange for honest review.

About the Movie: from media kit

In this follow up to Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure, Mickey Matson is at it again; this time pitted against the evil Admiral Ironsides and his gang of pirates who are intent on destroying civilization.

They're new invention, the Tesla Coil, is a weapon of mass destruction that will send an electromagnetic pulse throughout the world, destroying every electronic device in existence. With the help of a secret organization, Mickey and his best friend Sully embark on a mission to stop the pirates from taking over a submarine and stealing the last part needed to complete their devastating weapon.

If Admiral Ironsides succeeds in his plan, civilization will be sent back to the Stone Age. It's a race against time, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

My review:

I never heard of the Mickey Maston series before. The movie was a fast paced, action movie, presented from two sides at first. You first see the villains starting up their plan to do something with a machine, then you see the good guys heading to training to prepare to take down the bad guys. It was a little confusing at first. I thought the first part was taken in the past, similar to National Treasure, and the good guys had to find something. Luckily, both parts of the movie takes part in the present time.

Christopher Lloyd plays Grandpa Jack in the movie

The movie is about Mickey, who wants to work for the Secret Order of the Patriot, a elite organization, which helps bring down bad guys. The SOP uses the young and the old as secret agents.

This is a great family movie.

LED Flameless Candles Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received 24 Flameless Candles, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The candles are sold by a company called Mars. The candles also came with pink and red rose petals for decoration. The candles run by battery, which are also replaceable, if they goes dead. The plastic flame part is removable and can pose a choking hazard for small kids or even a big adult. I have used the candles to provide light in my closet or to light the room, after the lights go out during a storm or a flood.

You can purchase the candles, using the link above. The candles are prime-eligible.
