Noxicare Giveaway Part 1: Blogger Promotion 4/21 to 4/27

Simply not interested

I am happily awaiting the day when Boost Mobile gets call block. My phone lets me block people if they send a text first, but not people, who are simply getting on my last nerves. Some days, I pray some people will just send me a text........Anyway, I do have a do not answer contact with a do not answer ringtone. It is not just reserved for men, it is reserved for that annoying magazine company. My bill is current and cheap, but they are trying to get me to increase my payments to more than 4x the current amount to pay it off this year. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't need to be called more than 5x a day, to tell you HELL NO. 30 is a good deal compared to trying to pay 170 for 6 or so months for five mag subscriptions.

Some dude, who I spoke to, once, called me yesterday. I don't remember why I saved his number as do not answer, but it must be good. I don't even know his name because he says it so low. Ronnie, Rondell, Romeo, Rodeo, Ricky, Romere, etc etc etc. He also wants to meet, but I am not feeling that. Maybe that's why I DNA'ed him. This man called after 9 at night, talking about coming over. no, thank you. I got to clean for therapy in the morning and get some sleep. But, why can't i come over for a few minutes. (BECAUSE I DONT KNOW YOU FOOL. I don't know your name. I don't want you around my kids).

Fast forward to another pest: met him on Badoo, talk to him on FB. African, I thinks. Older, but beggy. There is nothing cute about begging unless your last name is Sweat and/or you a 90s R&B solo artist or band member. Hey, Joe, Shazam, G.I, Jodeci, Hi-Five, Troop, Rude boys, and Solo, plus a few others, can beg to me at any time, for the price of a cd, tape, or mp3. Baby won't you just say for a little while longer. Let me be your Pac-Man; full-time lover; part time lover; one life stand; candy girl; Take me back, Im finally back, Don't want to leave, need your love, etc etc

This man wants a relationship. He wants a girlfriend. He is not happy with his job because he has no one to spend money on. He tried to call me on skype when I was not logged in. He sends multiple messages saying the same thing, in a row, when he can't reach me. (If no one answers, Im not home or online.) Hey, Hi, hello, are you there> (if it says message not read yet, then I am not). He is not what I am looking for. Told him so, but he is still persistent, on the verge of annoying.

As you can tell, I am very open about wants and needs. Nothing wrong with persistence and dedication, if you truly want and desire it. But I find something wrong with a woman (or man) being very clear and direct about their wants and needs and no one listens. For example, I don't want any more kids, hence I got fixed. I  am not going to date someone, who wants kids or undecided about having kids. Would not be fair to both parties. Don't ask me out. Don't pursue me. Go for someone, who is more compatible.

Don't try to date the person, who does not want a relationship
Don't try to date the person, who is in a relationship and wants FWBs
Don't try to date the person, who wants kids and you don't
Don't try to date the person, who does not want kids, and you do
Don't try to date the person, who is hesitant about meeting.
Don't try to date the person, if their profile or texts or ims or face to face conversations don't meet your basic needs.

Read my profile Part 2

There is nothing more annoying than when someone asks you a question, which is clearly answered in a profile, whether dating or social or even Google. Someone called me today. Asked me all the wrong questions (right questions, just most of these were answered if he simply read)

 Here are some redundant questions:

1. What's your name? ( Ask that before you call lol)
2. How old are you?
3. Do you have a picture? Plenty of pictures online on every website I am on. Are you telling me you didn't look at any of them?
4. Do you have kids?
5. Do you have a job
6. Do you really have a STD? (Yeah, if I am going to lie, I would lie about being clean and wanting tons of sex. I also want 10 kids and a house in the hills, near the water).

Another thing, which irritated me was when he asked if I had a FB profile. I said yes. Then, he asked for user name. I said Stacie Wyatt. He said he did not understand. So, I started spelling it out for him. S is for sucks talking to you. T is for trouble. A is for annoying. C is for crazy. I is for ice cream. E is for egg. Then, before I got to my last name, he said he could not find me. WTF? How can you find someone if you a) didnt understand when I said my user name? and B) didn't let me finish spelling it out? Of course you won't find me. Ok, dummy, I can text you my user name or email it to you online.

Of Course, the call ended short

Anyway, I feel that if I take the time to write a profile, a man should at least read part of it, if not all of it. No point in asking questions, when the answers are online.

It did work on aches and pains. The product is a light cream, with a pleasant scent. The scent is not to heavy. Smells very natural. Also, does not stain your clothes.

Other benefits (according to the website):

What are you waiting for

I am currently reading, What are you waiting for by Dannah Gresh.. I read one of her other books, prior to this and I loved it. I chose the book because it focuses on celibacy, purity, and God's design for sex.  I bought the book from Amazon last week (paperback). The paperback was on sale and cheaper than the Kindle (way cheaper 4.99). The price is back to 8.98 now. Kindle is 7.99.

The book is not for the meek, the shy, the closed minded. Gresh talks openly about sex and sex-related issues. Gresh discusses porn, masturbation, homosexuality, friends with benefits, and finding love. All of this was written from a Christian perspective. I am trying to read more books about sexuality from a Christian perspective. So much information is out there, but I want to know what God says.

The author starts out discussing her marriage--from dating to the proposal. Dannah also discussed how her old boss encouraged her to have sex and even wanted to buy condoms. She discusses how she felt conflicted between sexual freedom and sexual purity. One side says to indulge in sex and the other side says indulge in God. The battle between the spirit and flesh is a tough one. Sure, I think about sex, but I am not trying to rush back into having sex. Celibacy is hard, but it's where I need to be right now.

Dannah also discusses sex in the bible. Yada is the Hebrew word for sex. Not just any sex, "to know, to be known, to be deeply respected" (p. 17). Yada is intimate sex with someone, who truly knows you (like a husband). Yada adds a level of emotional intimacy to sex. No secrets, and nothing is held back (p. 24). Mind-body-soul connection. Yada is used more than 900 times in the Hebrew Bible. Yada does not only apply to sex, but it applies to a relationship with God. God wants to be known and respected. He wants us to seek him and follow after him with a pure heart. He does not want us to fall for counterfeit love (p. 27)

On the other hand, Shakab means sexual intercourse. Shakab is frequently used with Sikba, which means emission (p. 30). Shakab also means exchange of fluids. This is a form of counterfeit love. Having sex with someone to simply exchange fluids. This is the dirty, disgusting, yucky, awkward, shameful types of sex (p. 31). I had a lot of this type of sex and very little (or none) Yada sex.

Finally, I started reading the chapter on Masturbation first. This was the main reason I bought the book. The bible does not offer direct teaching on masturbation (p. 72). The bible tells us not to commit adultery, which is a sin. If you look after another with lust in your heart, you are committing adultery. This may involve pornography or staring at half-naked people online (I have left groups on Facebook because of the half-naked, tempting men photos). Masturbation can also hinder our relationship with God and people. It can become addictive (which was true for me). It also may cause shame. It also can affect future relationships, such as it can rob your future husbands (or husbands) ability to please you (p. 78). The book also discusses getting an accountability partner to help you with purity, celibacy , masturbation ,and other sexual issues.

Have not finished the book yet, but will post more on things, which can help others, was well as myself on both blogs (Perfect Chaos and Celibacy Diaries).

Avenged by Janice Cantore

I read Avenged by Janice Cantore, in exchange for honest review from Tyndale House. I received a paperback from them a few weeks back. The book is about Officer Carly--she married and a police officer. She is married to Nick, the new head of the gang unit. Nick was previously injured in the line of duty and is happy to return to work. Carly is scared Nick will get hurt again or killed because of double (possible triple) homicide. Carly is also involved in a high profile case involving the Mayor.

The book starts off intense. I was hooked immediately. The Prologue: Three gang members (Crusher, Diondre, and Rojo) decide to take on a deal on their own without the gang's approval. Diondre wanted out the gang but Rojo and Crusher were more appealing to hang with. The boom--you need to read the rest of the prologue for that. The prologue is two pages long. Then, the book moves into the Burke Trial, Carly is involved in. She is scared of the investigation and being on trial for her involvement. Burke murdered a cop. There is also protests near the Marina over new development. Carly and her partner went patrol the Marina area, heard gun shots and found the three gang members (read the book to find out if they are living or dead). The city just hang a gang war years back and still recovering and not ready for the retaliation of a future gang war. The officers are also not sure, which gang was responsible for the crime. Another gang's tags were found at the scene, covering up another gang's tags. I loved this book. The cover art was amazing--wish my books had beautiful, bright, graphics. Carly must depend on God to get through the challenges been thrown at her.

I woke up
Yesterday, oh yesterday was a interesting and part horrible day. I had back to back therapies for the kids, plus the washing machine man was coming for a repair. I woke up at 7 am but did not move out the bed until 9. I was tired. Brad had speech therapy at 11 and Kalen had physical therapy at 1230. I got up, bathed all three kids (sons plus great niece). Moved my office downstairs (laptop, curriculum for Brad, books to review). Cleaned up the den. Then, I got a call from Jose, the speech therapist, because he forgot what time to show up. He is new since last week. Luckily, he lives 15 minutes away and called early enough, not to be late.
Speech therapy.
Speech therapy went well. We just started working with Jose last week. Brad has never had in-person, home, speech therapy before, so we are still in the transition process. Previously, Brad had speech therapy in school and online. Jose is working on getting Brad to say A and B, in addition to 1, and 2. The best part was Kalen participated. Kalen just turned 23 months on Saturday. Jose asked Brad to say A. Brad said AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Kalen also said AAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I was proud of both of them. Kalen also said Ba, when Jose asked Brad to say B.

Transition:
Jose left about 12ish. I had about 15 to 20 minutes to re-clean the den and eat before Ms. Sandy arrived. I head into the kitchen to make me a quick snack and saw Sariyah in her walker. She knocked over a soda and was completely wet. I cleaned her up and moved her into the den with Kalen and Brad. Her grandma (my sister) and her great grandma (my mother)--one of them left her downstairs alone. I did not want to keep her, especially during therapy, but my mother and sister--both was sleep. She was fine for the most part, but when she did move, she got in Kalen's way. Finally, heard Rachel (sister) coming out the garage and she came to get her grand baby.
Physical therapy:
Ms. Sandy was also bringing an assistant to train. Kalen was his first patient in the field. Lucky Me. Kalen did excellent. He used the gait walker. He did his walks with no crying for the first time ever. Her assistant also did an excellent job with Kalen. Not sure who to expect before the next appointment. Sandy said it could be her or her and John, or John alone. Rather have Sandy or Sandy with John, since John still needs training. He wanted to play with the great niece--since he just had a baby 3 months ago.

The washer man--aka Romeo or Ramon or whatever his name is--because I already forgot.
Sandy left about 1:49 pm. The washer man supposed to come between 3 and 530. The kitchen and washroom was dirty. Moved all the dishes to the sink and counters. pushed all the trash and other unnecessary junk. Someone had also moved all my daddy's suitcases and clothes into the washroom.  I already knew this was a two hour job, but I knew Romere would not arrive earlier. I got all the laundry room stuff outside on the patio. Cleaned and mopped that floor. Also, moved the washer down some, so it would be easier to get too, once Roberto showed up.

I swept and mopped half the kitchen. Still have not touched the dishes. It was already 3 pm and no sign of Ricky. I started washing dishes and got that done. Cleaned the counters. Here comes my mother. She screaming because Brad was slamming the door. She also tried to call , but i had the headsets in. I work better when I am listening to music. I was now upset because I am cleaning these rooms for her---the washing machine in her name. Either she wants me to clean--leaving Brad to his own devices--as long as he not messing with his brother or anyone else--or she can clean help me clean or clean it herself.  I understand she trying to sleep for work, but she needs to understand I probably would have cleaned those rooms later on that day, if Richard was not coming. I also needed a much needed nap. Finished cleaning the kitchen and washroom around 4 pm. Sat down to the laptop and checked my email. 5 30 rolls around. No sign of Rojo. Had to call Conns to track his truck. Robbie shows up around 6pm, talking about he thought of cancelling for yesterday, because of traffic. he finally got the washer fixed. and i lugged down all the bags of clothes from upstairs, the bathroom, and my room, which needed cleaning. Made sure to grab my bedding as well.

was up till 2 am, trying to wash and dry most of my clothes, only to wake up at 7 am to start preparing for today's back to back therapy sessions. did not get up till 8 though. got downstairs to do another load or two. bathed me and my kids. cleaned up the den, kitchen, and living room again. 9 am, no sign of the occupational therapist. she called about 15 minutes late, asking to reschedule for 1230. it is fine with me, but i wouldnt have woke up at 7, if it was not for the braces. Jose shows up at 11 as well. hope today is better than yesterday.

Defiant Brides

I read Defiant Brides, in exchange for review from Edelweiss. The book was written by Nancy Rubin Stuart. The book was also published by Beacon Press. The book discussed women, who married some interesting men like Benedict Arnold and Henry Knox. Arnold was in the military and then betrayed his country, while Knox was a book seller and patriot. Lucy was married to Knox and Peggy was married to Arnold. Lucy and Peggy are the central characters in the book. Both wives were also dedicated (and supported) their husband's causes.

I have heard of Benedict Arnold before, but I barely recall Henry Knox. I do love how the book focuses on the women, the wives, instead of the men. Most of history, I read, focuses on the men's accomplishments during military wars but don't really focus on how the women were affected. Peggy had to put up with insults, taunts, and isolation because of her husband's actions. Lucy faced the death of 10 of her kids (which I am sympathetic towards). Lucy also wanted an equal say in the household, despite Knox's command in the army. Peggy showed more restraint towards her husband--she also referred to him as "The General"

This book was an interesting read. Stuart wanted to show the more human side of Lucy Knox and Peggy Arnold versus their former labels of patriot and traitor. The book shows how women will support and love their husbands, no matter how stupid, dumb, or idiotic they act.

Learning to Love

I read Learning to Love, in exchange for review from Bethany House. The book was written by Heidi and Rolland Baker and published by Chosen Books,  a division of Baker Publishing Group.

The book discusses ministry in Africa. The authors founded Iris Ministries (since 1980) and are located in Mozambique. The book's introduction discusses how Iris Ministries was started in the United States and later expanded to the Philippines, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. They finally did mission work in Mozambique in the 1995. The authors mentioned a little girl, amputee, whose grandma wanted her stoned to death because the girl lacked use to the family. The girl had to sell her body for food and water. The authors realized helping her was an act of love.It was the gospel. I loved the story. It was compassionate, moving, inspirational. It was God's hand moving mountains. Showing love to someone don't require much. People need help, despite outward appearances. God can use anyone to do his work, his will. God can use anyone for the glory of the Kingdom.

I chose the book because it was different. I been reviewing more books lately, which has an higher purpose. I do not always need to read fiction. I can read Christian, Business, Childrens, etc. I can read books, which build me up and expand my knowledge base. The first 20 pages grabbed my attention big time. The book had four sections: passion and compassion; joy and suffering; going even lower; and not by might. The book was also less than 200 pages with Adobe Digital Editions. The book also has beautiful pictures of children throughout the book. The pictures are in black and white.

The book discussed God's love, joy, faith, hope, goodness,  grace, mercy, compassion. It also discussed serving others. The book also discusses developing a relationship with God. This was a great read. The book also discussed Heidi and Rolland's mission work in Africa. A wedding was the start of part 1. The authors helped plant churches, worked with the deaf, fed the hungry, and brought recorded  and print bibles to the pastors and the communities. The book also discussed the downfalls of doing God's work. The authors discussed how three pastors was beaten and how the government confiscated homes. Trucks were destroyed and had an angry mob wanting to stone a pastor. Doing the work of the Lord is not an easy one, but the rewards are great.

Finally, I liked the time to reflect at the end of each section. The time to reflect presents a bible verse for mediation.

Hoover versus Hoover

I have a Hoover Carpet Cleaner. Had it for almost two years. My mother bought it, but I ended up mostly using it. Since, I bought the replacement filters and solutions, It is now mine. My daddy bought one a few weeks ago, not knowing we already had one (since I only clean upstairs). Was not really feeling it because it looked bulky. Not trying to do extra work attempting to push around a vacuum or shampooer. I used it a few days ago for the first time. Brad had an accident on the floor and I did not want to lug my baby downstairs. I also did not want to get on my hands and knees to scrub poop out the floor either.

I have a Hoover Quick and Light Carpet Carpet Cleaner. My daddy has a Hoover Max Extract 60 Carpet Deep Cleaner. Both of them are Hoovers, which means it is already a good product with good suction. Had no issues with cleaning power with each. I didn't see much of a difference in cleaning though.
About 100 dollar difference between the two. One major difference is the Max Extract is obviously bulkier, but also has a built in hose/pressure washer. I loved the pressure washer. It got dirt off the staircase banister, the little ledge on the carpet going up and down the steps. It also got dirt off the steps.  It got gum off my bedroom floor and the game room floor. I also tried to get the cleaner to pick up paraffin wax. I have a scentsy. One of the kids knocked it over while they was sleep months ago. My quick and light did not get all of it up. Neither did the Extract.

Another big difference: the tanks. With my quick and light, I usually need two or three refills on the water to clean each room to my standards. With the extract, it took 3 or 4 refills of both water and cleaning solution to clean my floor. It also took about 8 tanks to clean the game room, which is huge. ( I cleaned the living room, den, stairs game room, and my room with the Extract to see how well it works). I also noticed the pressure washer nozzle was leaking, while I was cleaning. The water tanks also emptied very, very fast. The attachment, which goes on the nozzle also does not pick up big pieces of carpet debris, such as fish tank rocks or long pieces of carpet hairs (not sure of the fancy term) gum, etc. If you take the attachment off and use the nozzle part only (nozzle plus the hose), it will pick up bigger debris.

Who won my comparison Test: The quick and light of course. It is lighter. It holds more water. I don't have to refill the tanks as much. As much as I loved the hose on the Extract, it's downfall was the constant back and forth, carrying the tanks for refilling the water and dumping the dirty water.
