Steps to a Better You Personal Trainer Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: I received access to BioMechanicallyFit, in order to review the program.

I need to lose weight and tone my body, but I am not joining a gym. I have weights, a balancing ball, and other exercise equipment at home, which I use when I do workout, whenever that is. I also walk around the neighborhood or walk my oldest to school, a few times a month. Doing housework and chasing kids also counts as exercise.

The website provides a series of books and videos to help you lose weight. I do recommend getting a note pad to track progress and assessments from the books. The books come in two formats, ebook and pdf. What I did first was to download the books for all the modules because at the time, I was approved, I had limited home internet. I was using my phone's hot spot plus my regular hot spot to be able to work online. I had to download all I could before I ran out of data. The home internet just came back on and I am starting the program later than expected.

The programs consist of five modules. Each module has their own videos and books. The dashboard is the starting point. You will download worksheets to determine goals, health history, posture, and other vital information. Module One focuses on nutrition and body types. Module Two focuses on posture, static and dynamic.

Module Three through Five focuses on exercises. There is also a bonus section with books for specific workouts, like kettle bells, resistance bands, and trx workouts.

I received the DanceCrazy Ultra Stretch (Orange and Black), in exchange for honest review. The stretch band has loops for your arms and feet. The loops have enough room to stretch your feet or arms out.

I have used the ultra stretch for basic stretches and modified pull ups. The bands are easy to use. You slip your foot or feet into the holes and slip your arms into the front holes and stretch away.

You can purchase the Ultra stretch using the link above. The ultra stretch is prime-eligible.

Bold Tribe Pull Up Bands Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Bold Tribe Assisted Pull Up Band for Beginners with Exercise Guide, in exchange for honest review. The band helps you do push ups, pull ups, and other exercises with additional resistance. I do like how the band is long enough to go across my entire body.

The exercise guide provides workouts to start using the bands, like push ups with the band, going across the back.

The product is made out of rubber. It is one solid rubber loop. .The band also works with a pull up bar. So far, I been trying to do push ups with it, but I will work on pull ups within the next week or so. I struggle with doing pull ups. My boobage gets in the way and I can't pull too far up. I also have done stretches with the band.

You can purchase the Bold Tribe assisted pull up band, using the link above. The band is prime-eligible.

Ohuhu Run Ladder Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Ohuhu® 12 Rung Agility Ladder with Black Carry Case, in exchange for honest review.  The ladder does require some space and we just recently cleaned out the game room, a few weeks ago. I also have more space on my bedroom floor, once I moved my oldest bed into another room. I like how the rungs are adjustable. Great for a quick workout or to relieve stress.

You can purchase the ladder using the link above. The ladder is prime-eligible.

SworkIt Fitness App Review (Tomoson)

I received Sworkit, a fitness app, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson . Sworkit is a fitness app, available on Google Play, Amazon, and The App Store. The app is available in a free and premium version.

In the app, you have five workout modes: strength, cardio, yoga, stretching, and customized. Each workout is five minutes long. You are able to watch a demo of the workout, then do the workout. You also can pause workouts.

The app also has a partnership with two rewards programs, Mpoints and Klip. You can earn giftcards, donate to charity, or use the points to enter sweepstakes. Next, you can connect the app to Google Fit and My Fitness Pal.

The app is easy to use. You choose your workout; strength, cardio, yoga, stretching, or a customized workout. Then, you chose a workout type. For example, under stretching, you can do a head to to warm up; a full body stretch; a standing only stretch; or back strengthening. Next, you choose your workout time, from five minutes to an hour. You also can choose a custom length. Then, begin your workout.

You can watch a video of the workout before you begin. Then, a timer counts down. Once it starts, you start the workout. If you need a break, hit the pause button.

The app also speaks to you

You also can track your progress with the app.

I liked the app. It gives me a chance to get a workout in, even if I only have five minutes. I also like the video demos and the video trainers on the screen.

HIIT Game 52 Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received The HIIT Interval Workouts Game by Stack 52. , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. The game can be played solo or in teams.

Full instructions are also available online. The product was created by Stack 52. In the game, you have swap cards and draw cards, similar to UNO. If you get a swap card, you can swap exercises with another player. If you pull a draw card, you pull two more workout cards You also have power up cards, which doubles your points in the game.

Next, you have exercise cards. The exercise cards have the name of the exercise, the point value, the type of exercise (color coded), a picture of the exercise, and a QR code to view a video of the exercise. I downloaded a QR reader when I reviewed other Stack 52 products. You also have a description of the exercise.

Other cards include the anatomy of the card, which explains how to read each card, the instructions, and the shield cards, which can block extra cards or swap cards. You also get the contests card and a game layout card for a solo game.

The game is easy to play in theory but you will feel the burn. This is a great way to workout. Your workout changes every game, depending on your cards dealt.

You can purchase the game, on Stack 52's website or on Amazon, using any of the links above.

Fat Loss-All in one start up guide for maximum fat loss book review (tomoson)

I read Fat Loss - All In One Startup Guide For Maximum Fat Loss (Weight Loss, Fat Loss, Health And Fitness) in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

The book was written by Joseph Vartas and the book is .99 on Kindle. The book is not offered in paperback.

I wanted to review this book because I struggle with weight. The most I ever been was 225 and the lowest as an adult was 130 lbs. Last week, I was 153 lbs. I been working out with Revolt Fitness for the last few months.

The book started off with discussing why people don't lose fat, like they want to. Two ways include burning more calories than you consume or consuming more calories than you burn. I never counted calories, so I am confused on this concept.  The author also discussed taking your measurements on a regular basis. I do have a tape measure and calipers. I need to start back taking my measurements. You will use your measurements to determine your body fat percentages. The body fat percentages will tell you if you are normal weight, overweight, or obese. When I started exercising, I was in the obese range, but now I am in the overweight range.

Next, the author discussed the difference between losing weight and fat loss. You can lose weight, but not lose fat loss. Everyone's body is different and requires a different method to lose weight and lose fat loss. You may need to burn additional calories or do a low-intensity workout, or even an high intensity workout. I work best with low-intensity, but I also do a few high-intensity every now and then to break up the monotony.

The book also provides do's and don't for fat burning; exercises for fat loss; and frequently asked questions.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
