Daily Yoga App Review (Tomoson)

I tried out the Daily Yoga App, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the program because I never done yoga but I heard about the benefits of the program. I already had an yoga mat and yoga towel. After a 10-15 minute warm-up and mounting a tablet near the floor, I was ready to try out the Daily Yoga app.

The app is available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phones. I downloaded the free version to my phone first.

Once you download the app, you see a wide range of programs, you can view. Each of the program, such as beginner standing poses, requires another download from Google Play, The App Store, and whatever program Windows uses. This means memory. I did not have enough memory on my phone to download all the programs, I wanted. Thank you to my children for their tablets.

I downloaded the app to one of my kid's tablets and was able to download 3-4 beginners yoga programs. The app also has programs for intermediate and more advanced yoga users.

Then, you load the program you want. Each program loads a video, which shows you a instructor demonstrating each yoga pose. You just follow along. The first program, the yoga sitting poses, took about 20 minutes for me to go through. Since it is a video, you can fast forward and rewind.

The app was easy to use. Just took some type downloading what I needed.

You can try out the free app by clicking on the link above. Once the website is loaded, there are icons, which links to you the appropriate app store for your device, including a QR code, which you can scan to send the app to your phone.

Hot or Not App Review and Giveaway

Hot or Not

Hot or Not is the mobile and facebook application for Badoo.com, a dating site. I have been using the android and website app for a minute. The app allows you to send messages to interested parties on your iPhone or on Facebook. Next, you can add and rank photos.

If you are interested in someone, you can rank them based on looks with a heart or X. You also can skip if you click on the next pic in the queue. You also can expand the profile (the little I in the circle) and rank based on interests.

The profile contains valuable information:

· Language(s) spoke

· If they have kids, want more kids, or not sure, if they want kids.

· Gender and age range of who they want to date

· Interests

· Relationship status

· Pictures

· Age

· Last time online

· Location

· Mutual Facebook Friends

· Sexual orientation

· Description of appearance

· Smokers and drinkers

· Education

· Work/Profession

· Living situation

For example, I give X’s to men, who want more kids or not sure if they want more kids. I also give X’s to men, who are in a relationship. On the other hand, I love me a bald-headed, chocolate man, whether white chocolate, dark chocolate, or brown chocolate.

Second, you can create and edit your profile, in addition to creating a search.

Matches

Hot or Not has a match feature built-in. If you like someone and they have liked you back, you get a match notification, saying “you found a connection”. At this point, you can keep ranking prospects or you can send your new connection a message.

Giveaway

Enter to win $1000 from Apptism. Winners will be announced on February 15, 2014.

Pearl Mountain Technology CollageIt 3 Pro Free from the App Store (MAC OS users) CONTEST

I reviewed Collage It Pro for the PC a few months ago. I installed the app on my other laptop (which needs repairing and created beautiful art for my Facebook Fan Pages. Now, I have a Mac Book Pro, given by my school.

CollageIt 3 Pro was developed by Pearl Mountain Technology. CollageIt 3 Pro is now available in the MAC store for free until October 31st (Link to App). The app helps you create photo collages using Mac OS X.

I provided two photo collages, I made with the PC program and a sample, I made with the Mac App. The free version does not provide all the upgrades, but you can still create a beautiful collage. I loved how you can add text to your photos, in addition to using a gradient as a color for your photos.

Some of the features include:

  1. Random Layout. You can drag and drop your pictures and use random layout to generate an automatic layout
  2. 45 new templates and 4 collage styles. The styles include Mosiac, Grid, Center, and Pile.
  3. Export and Share options. The PC version had an export to Facebook option, which I loved.
  4. The ability to add backgrounds, photo effects, text effects, and borders.
  5. Use "free mode" to resize, move, and rotate photos.

Get the app now in the App Store (Link to App) before the price goes back up to $29.99
