#RecycleYourPeriodPad Poise Campaign (Linqia)

This post was sponsored by Linqia for a Poise Campaign. This post also contains Linqia Affiliate Links.

For the #RecycleYourPeriodPad Campaign, I had trouble deciding what to make. Aunt flo also showed up this week and Kalen just happened to rip one of my pads and tried to destroy it.

I made a bracelet with a bow and a breast cancer awareness pin.

I took one of my Always Infinity Pads. Drew some orange drops to represent jewelry. I also painted the background purple. Next, I pinned a breast cancer awareness pin in the middle. Finally, I took the green backing, ripped it in two, and hot glued both pieces to the back to the pad, and made a bow with both pieces.

The purpose for the campaign:

Many people, including me, uses period pads for light bladder leakage, instead of a product designed for light bladder leakage, such as Poise. My mother is notorious for this too. She had a hysterectomy years ago. She no longer has a cycle but she still buys period pads for light bladder leakage.

According to the media kit, 1: 3 women experience light bladder leakage (LBL), but using a LBL pad offers a dryness, not offered by a period pad. LBL is for LBL pads, not period pads.

Poise has designed a new thin-shape pad, which is 40% thinner than the original brand pads. The new thin shape pads are designed for light bladder leakage. The thin-shape pads are designed to move with your body. The pads also feature SAM (super absorbent material) and a thin flex design, which is 3x drier than a period pad.

The campaign wants women to turn a few of their period pads into a project such as a bracelet or a floor cleaner, or a headband to help them to remember period pads are not for LBL.

You can get a free sample Poise Pads here. You also can view other #RecycleYourPeriodPad ideas, using the link as well.

Luxe de Soie Body Cream Review (Tomoson)

I received Luxe Lumineux Argan Oil-infused Facial Care Series (Luxe de Soie, 2 ounce), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The cream is infused with Argan Oil. The cream also contains Shea butter. The product feels wonderful everywhere, including the soles of your feet. The product also smells wonderful. It's a light scent. It's creamy, it's rich, it makes your body feel smooth. Your skin feels moisturized all day long. I ran out of the luxe de soie over the course of the review. I used it daily until it ran out.

You can purchase Luxe Luminuex in many scents such as the Luxe de Soie; Brown sugar figgy scrub; Bonne Nuit, and Grand Jour, using the link above. The body cream is prime-eligible

Show me the Kwan Review (US Family Guide)

This post was sponsored by US Family Guide Bloggers Program. I received a copy of Show me the Kwan for review. No other compensation was provided. This post also contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

Note: I think I said Foxmind Games in the video, but Foxmind Games does not make Show me the Kwan.

I received Show Me The Kwan Game, in exchange for honest review from USFG Bloggers Program. Show me the Kwan is a word-based game, which users call out words, based on a particular category, with letters in a certain position. I am definitely not a fan of people, just blurting out the words. I prefer pen and paper, but the game is not easy as you think. You have a category, such as stores. You have one dice with 3 positions: first letter, second letter, and last letter. You also have a dice with a particular letter, which needs to be in a particular position.

For example, if the category is stores. The first letter is an I and I would call out Ikea. The score keeper writes down my points.

You have to call out your words before the timer ends. You can purchase the game on Amazon, using the link above. The game is prime-eligible.

When Calls the Heart Review and Giveaway (FlyBy Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by FlyBy Blog Promotions. I received access to Season 2, episodes 1 and 2 for participation. No other compensation was provided.

About the series: (from media kit)

The series is inspired by Janette Oke’s bestselling book series about the Canadian West. “When Calls the Heart” tells the captivating story of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young teacher accustomed to her high society life, who receives her first classroom assignment in Coal Valley, a small coal-mining town where life is simple, but often fraught with challenges.

Lori Loughlin plays Abigail Stanton, a wife and mother whose husband, the foreman of the mine, along with a dozen other miners, has just been killed in an explosion. The newly widowed women find their faith is tested when they must go to work in the mines to keep a roof over their heads.

Elizabeth charms most everyone in Coal Valley, except Constable Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) who believes Thatcher’s wealthy father has doomed the lawman’s career by insisting he be assigned in town to protect the shipping magnate’s daughter. Living in a turn of the century coal town, Elizabeth will have to learn the ways of the frontier if she wishes to thrive in the rural west on her own.

My Review

I never saw When calls the Heart on Hallmark Channel. I normally watch sometimes in the morning for Golden Girls or that home show. Hallmark has a great range of family programming for all ages. When calls the heart reminds me of Little House on the Prairie or Dr. Quinn, Medicine woman.

Season 2 premieres on April 25th, on the Hallmark channel. I did find a website, which has season 1, so I can catch up. The first episode starts out with a trial.

Liquid Garcinia Cambogia Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Garcinia Cambogia Liquid Diet Drops , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I have tried Garcnia before in pill form. The pills are so big, that I can't take them too long. When I saw a liquid formula, I was happy to review the product.

First, the Garcinia helps you lose weight. The taste is also sweet. You take a few drops to help suppress your appetite, which can lead to weight loss. The product also contains green coffee beans.

According to WebMD, Green Coffee Beans are Coffee beans, which have not been roasted yet. The website also says green coffee beans contain higher levels of Chlorogenic acid, which may have health benefits for weight loss, diabetes, and heart disease.

I liked the liquid Garcinia for the taste and it does help suppress appetite. I love to snack and some days, I lack control. The garcinia has helped me control my appetite, when I do use it.

You can purchase the product on Amazon, using the link above. Garcinia is prime-eligible.

Ultra Bright LED Headlamp Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Ultra BRIGHT LED Headlamp in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.I wanted to review the light to see into a few dark places, such as my closet and the hallway closet. In the video below, I turned off the flash on my phone and showed you the inside of the closet. My closet does not have any lights. The LED headlamp helped me see in all my bins, instead of having to turn on the lamp on the desk or randomly searching through bins and drawers.

The LED headlamp also has multiple light modes, including an emergency, flashing light. The light also uses 3 AAA batteries.

VIDEO DEMONSTRATION

You can purchase the product on Amazon. The Ultra Bright LED Lamp is Prime-eligible. It also comes in blue and red.

Universal Comfy Crib Mattress Protector Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Universal Comfy Crib Mattress Protector, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to use the mattress protector for Kalen's bed. Kalen has a traditional crib/toddler mattress for a toddler bed. The mattress is waterproof and Kalen finds ways to test that out. He spills water in the bed. Earlier today, he tried to rub peanut butter through the mattress. He also still wets the bed.

The mattress protector is made from bamboo fibers. The protector also offers built in allergen and stain protection. The protector is also so soft. I wish my mattress protector had the same material. Kalen loves his new mattress protector. You can see him rolling around in the video below. You can check out more in my video review below.

You can purchase the product, using the link above. The protector is prime-eligible.

Disney Party (Mom Select)

This was sponsored by Moms Select.

I know I am late, but I thought I lost all my photos to the former mac and former phone. I found a few photos and videos, buried deep in the camcorder. The party was held in February 2015 with the relatives, who live here.
