Ryan Judd Sleep Soundly Insomia CD Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I wanted this cd because I am a nght owl, who struggles to sleep at night. When I really need to sleep, I have to force myself or pop a sleeping pill. The cd consists of a nice musical track with a person providing breathing exercises and visualizations. I liked the breathing exercises. It helped me calm down, even when I was not trying to sleep. Being calm at night is good instead of my normal, frantical self.

You can purchase the cd using the link above.

#TheRhythmTree Autism and Special Needs Music Therapy Program DVD

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate links.

I recieved Autism & Special Needs DVD and CD : PERFECT FOR PARENTS, EDUCATORS AND THERAPISTS - Developed by a Music Therapist, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The DVD was created by Ryan Judd, a certified music therapist.

I wanted this because I do have two kids with autism, in addition to other diagnoses. My kids love music. Both kids also love to dance along to certain songs. I have videos of Kalen dancing to Lecrae, Lyfe Jennings, Bruno Mars, and the Austin and Ally theme song.

Both kids have also used music in various therapies and in church.

Judd teaches how music can help kids improve skills, no matter if parents can sing or not. The key is to have fun with your kids. In the video, Judd has children participate along via instruments (maracas, tapping sticks, and tambourines) and movement, such as jumping, crawling,  hi-fives and balancing on the left and right leg. He also has some counting in the songs. There is also a cd with all 9 songs from the DVD.

Judd also provides tips on prompts and how to respond to children in therapy. He also provides tips on how to make homemade instruments, such as drums, rubber band harps,  and sandpaper blocks. ]

We Dream: Modern Lullabies to help you and your baby fall asleep (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Lullaby CD - Modern Instrumental Guitar Lullabies , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted the cd to see if it helps calm Kalen down so he can go to sleep at night. Kalen is the king of naps, but since school started, his naps have declined and he wants to stay up until late at night. I don't want to rely on meds, (Brad is on two prescribed sleep meds) to help him sleep.

The cd is filled with sounds of water, such as the ocean. I think I heard rain too. Kalen was sleep within 30 minutes. He even slept in his own bed.

Ryan Judd, the creator of the collection, is a certified music therapist. The CD contains 7 instrumental selections:

  1. Drift Away
  2. Stay Awhile
  3. A Step Closer
  4. Storyteller
  5. DreamScape
  6. A Winter's Ballad
  7. Bittersweet

You can purchase the CD off Amazon, using the link above. The CD is prime-eligible. The CD also comes in MP3 format.
