Pravette Mini Projector Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I recieved the Pravette Mini Projector, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The projector came with the manual, cap, remote, aux cords, power supply, and tripod screw. The projector has an infared sensor, hdmi, vga, usb, and  an sd card slot. You will need an adapter for micro sd and nano sd cards. It also has a built in focus dial.

I wanted one to connect to the pc, camcorder, and use with my sd cards. I also wanted to be able to edit and view videos (when I get a faster pc) on a bigger screen I was able to test the projector, with a makeshift screen, to view camcorder photos. I was not able to view the videos because of the file format. The manual came in handy with adjusting the shape of the projection (from trapezoid to square) plus focus.

The projector also worked well with my mini tripods and my monopod. I had to use a shoe/adapter to work with my tripods. The projector can get hot though after extended use. I cant wait to see how the projector works on a projection screen and with videos.

You can purchase the mini projector, using the link above. The projector is prime-eligible.

Evol Concepts Mica Powder Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This page contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Evol Concepts Mica Powder, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The set comes with 20 colors, ranging from blues, greys, purples, yellows, greens, golds, and greys. I also loved the black.

The powders can be used in many applications such as candles, nail art, slime, make-up, scrubs, butters, whatever you can think of. The powders are non-toxic and safe for every day use.

I wanted to try the powders because I had used liquid candle colors before but the liquid dried out quick. The liquid, I had, was also super thick and slow to come out of the bottle. I liked the easy application and use of the mica powders. The powders came in a small, white, box with each color in a baggie.

My niece and I used the colors in body butters, candles, and scrubs. It was fun mixing the different colors to see what new colors, we could create. The powders can get messy if you pour out too much at a time. I use a spoon to scoop out a little at a time. The colors did not stain the counters, stove, or my (or niece's) skin.

I can't wait to see what other applications, I can use the mica powders in. I have a small collection of glass jars for candles. I wonder if the mica powders can be used as a paint or tint to help decorate the jars.

Candle Wax

Rose Violet Gold Tea Scrub

Sphynx Portable Razor Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate links

I received the Sphnyx Disposable Razor, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The Sphnyx is the coolest razor, I have seen in a long time. You don't have to carry around razors and shaving cream separately anymore. The razor comes in Teal, Black, Purple, and Pink.

The razor contains a mini water bottle, two razor blades, and a shaving bar. You simply rotate the dial in the middle to move to each section. You can also take the top off to replace the blades and shaving bar.

I wanted to try it because I like the size of the disc. It was easy to drop into my bag, and use on the go. I also liked how you can replace the blades and shave bar. You don't have to buy more than one starter kit to get refills.

I used the Sphnyx to shave my pits, arms, and bikini area. The razor was easy to use and easy to clean.

You can purchase the Sphnyx using the link above or on Amazon. The Sphnyx is prime-eligible. The refill pack is also sold on Ulta. The pack comes with four blades and a preshave bar.

Dr Q Portable DVD Player Review

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Dr. Q's Portable DVD Player, in exchange for review. I thought the player would be good for family trips. What I did not realize when I ordered it was A) The screen is 14.1inches (love it) and you can use it with and without battery power. The player has a 6 hour playing time once fully charged. The player light turns green once fully charged.

The DVD Player comes with 2 sets of headphones, remote, wall, charger, car charger, AV cable, and AV adapter. You also can connect the player to your television, another dvd player, or other devices.

The screen is clear and crisp. The screen also swivels. The DVD player came in handy when the lights went out this month, during a thunder storm.

The player also plays CDs, SD cards, and multiple file formats. I was able to play music and watch movies with no issues.

The thing, I struggled with the most, was the controls. I haven't used a DVD player in a while. You have to use buttons on both sides of the disc holder when playing music or a movie. I didn't use the remote right away because I didn't have batteries, but it was easier to use.

Finally,  you can copy CDs/DVDs to a usb drive. I have not used this feature yet but can't wait to try it.

You can order Dr. Q's Portable DVD Player using the link above.

Asobu Portable Coldbrew Coffee Maker Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the Asobu Portable Coldbrew Coffee Maker, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The coffee maker comes with a built-in, 40oz., vacuum insulated,  carafe for portability and easy storage. The carafe can be removed from the maker.  The coffee can be brewed from 12 (for hot coffee) to 24 for cold coffee. It also has an air valve on top. The air valve needs to be closed when brewing and open, when you are ready to empty the coffee into the carafe. There is also a button on the side, which empties the coffee into the carafe.

I wanted the coffee maker so I can make coffee, without my kids knowing. I made this batch with break the cup coffee. I do not have an electric, coffee maker, but do have a french press. To use, you add the grounds into the metal filter. You soak the grounds and then add water to the glass part, to start infusing the coffee.

The coffee was strong after 24 hours. Great way to get a quick, pick me up. You can then add creamer, sugar, or just drink it black. I made ice coffee, the first time, I used the brewer.

You can purchase the coffee maker on Amazon, using the link above. The carafe comes in 4 colors: black, white, silver, and copper. The coffee maker is prime-eligible.

Moonwater Elixers Sage Clearing Spray Review (Tomoson)

I received Moonwater Elixers Sage Clearing Spray, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The spray comes in a 15 oz bottle.

I never heard of sage clearing spray before and wanted to learn more information. The company did include information about sage clearing with the product.

First, Sage Spray is an alternative to burning sage in the home, office, and other spaces.

From my own research, I have learned that some people say a prayer, chant, or mantra before and after"cleaning" or smudging their home and personal spaces.

Sage is used to bring positive energy into your home and other personal spaces. The product contains organic white sage essential oil and clear, quartz crystals.

The sage spray is a light scent. I have used it on my bedding and in the bedroom to test it out. I am not sure what to make of it yet. My house is a huge negative space and I am in process of trying to make small repairs plus declutter to bring peace and calm. Peace and calm were one of the reasons, I wanted to try the product.

You can purchase the product, using the link above. You can use the discount code 77091STA.

Nuwa Portable Cordless Vacuum Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links

I recieved the Rose Gold Nuwa Portable Cordless Vacuum, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The vacuum comes with the charger and accessories. The filter is included. The filter was easy to remove. The canister was easy to take off to empty contents. The vacuum can be used for home, car, and on the go. The vacuum has a built-in led light.

The vac is a wet/dry vacuum and can also be used for pet hair.

The vacuum is lightweight. I accidently droped the vac, while using the vac with the hose attachment to clean the couch. The top tab broke. Be careful not to drop the vac.

Next, the hose could be made from more durable material. It took a little manuervering to attach the hose to the attachments. The hose fell out a few times too.

The filter is reusable and can be removed to be cleaned.

You can purchase the vac using the link above. The vacuum is prime-eligible.

I could use a nap and a million dollars book review (Kregel Blog Tours)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read I could Use a Nap and a Million Dollars by Jessie Clemence, in exchange for honest review from Kregel Blog Tours. I received a paperback book . The book is Christian based. The subtitle is Biblical Alternatives for stressed out living.

I wanted to read the book because I am stressed out, especially in the past month. This month alone, Brad had an allergic reaction to accidently taking Kalen's medications. Kalen and I had a bad cold. My appendix burst. I missed Brad's ARD/IEP meeting for extended school year (ESY) because of the surgery. Luckily, the diagnostician already knew my wishes and held the meeting without me.  My laptop decided to die, while laying on my bed for two days, turned off. Kalen also had tonsil and adenoid surgery to help with his sleep apnea. I had an unpleasant OB/GYN visit. Not to mention, the joys of just raising specail needs kids. Every day is an adventure in not running away to a Caribbean island, drinking  a long island iced tea.

I feel my kids run the show and I am slowly losing control of everything, including my mind.

This is why we eat too much chocolate and cry in the shower. This is why we need a nap and a million dollars to fall out of the sky. We've had enough. Life is just too much. p. 13

The book teaches us how to rely on God even when we are stressed out. I loved when the author discussed cleaning in chapter 2. Her Ikea bowls were always missing and she hated looking for them. In my house, I have the same issue. I spend a lot of time hunting down spoons, bowls, and other kitchen utensils. Some of these was already in limited supply. I only own 4 bowls. Don't need much. I live with 3 people and rarely have company over. If for some reason, I do, I got 4 plates. I don't understand why my oldest can't bring utensils back into the kitchen after he uses them. He also has a bad habit of tossing his dirty diapers anywhere, when there are multiple trash bags throughout the house. Trying to clean the front room is stressful. I found old chicken bones behind my rubbermaids the other day. Not fun.

Trying to clean and unclutter my house causes many stress filled days, but who says my house has to be perfectly clean? It would be nice but it may not happen. The author said the bible does not base our value on how clean our houses are. The bible focuses on the condition of our heart.

What got me (because I skipped ahead to the end of the book) was the conclusion. The author discussed how two of her friends adopted special needs kids. I understand special needs parenting well. You have to deal with the normal things like paying bills, cooking, cleaning, but also dealing with the special needs side. The constant doctor appointments; the outright refusal to take medications; the sleep meds not working; and the meltdowns. One meltdown this week lead me to a bitten, bruised arm because he did not want to go to his monthly behavior appointment for his meds.

The book also includes questions, a focus, and a prayer at the end of chapters.

You can purchase the book in kindle and paperback format. The book is prime-eligible.
