I received the Asobu Portable Coldbrew Coffee Maker, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.
The coffee maker comes with a built-in, 40oz., vacuum insulated, carafe for portability and easy storage. The carafe can be removed from the maker. The coffee can be brewed from 12 (for hot coffee) to 24 for cold coffee. It also has an air valve on top. The air valve needs to be closed when brewing and open, when you are ready to empty the coffee into the carafe. There is also a button on the side, which empties the coffee into the carafe.
I wanted the coffee maker so I can make coffee, without my kids knowing. I made this batch with break the cup coffee. I do not have an electric, coffee maker, but do have a french press. To use, you add the grounds into the metal filter. You soak the grounds and then add water to the glass part, to start infusing the coffee.
The coffee was strong after 24 hours. Great way to get a quick, pick me up. You can then add creamer, sugar, or just drink it black. I made ice coffee, the first time, I used the brewer.
You can purchase the coffee maker on Amazon, using the link above. The carafe comes in 4 colors: black, white, silver, and copper. The coffee maker is prime-eligible.
