I'm Going to Give You a Bear Hug Review (FlyBy Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read I'm Gong to Give You a Bear Hug by Caroline Clooney in exchange for honest review from FlyBy Blog Promotions. The book was illustrated by Tim Warnes. I wanted the book for Kalen.

The book was cute and easy to read. The book reminded me a bit of Seuss because it rhymed. In the book, the little boy got hugs from various animals, but nothing compared to the bear hug, he got in the end.

Kalen loves the book. He loves being read too. So far, the cover and book is still intact, which means he loves the book. He even hid the book from his brother when brother tried to snatch it from him.

You can purchase the book using the link above. The book is available in hardback, board book, and paperback format. The book is prime-eligible.

The book is meant for more school age to older kids, not mine since the book has more words than pictures. The stories was easy to follow and very entertaining, especially the first story about Old Gray and the Roman legion soldiers.

Bedtime for Buzzy Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links

I read Bedtime for Buzzy, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by T.J. Hackworth and illustrated by Sean Baptist. I received a hardback copy of the book.

The book is about a little boy, who does not want to go to bed. He wants to play with each of his toys such as the dinosaur and the explorer. Each of his toys comes to life to encourage Buzzy to go to bed. The book was a quick read with beautiful graphics, perfect for Kalen.

I also liked how the toys had their own adventures and still told Buzzy the importance of sleep and rest.

On another note, the only issue I had with the book was the binding, which came apart easily. Kalen loved the book and pointing out the pictures.

You can pre-order the book using the link above. The book comes in Kindle and Hardback format.

Ata and the Magic Potty Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read Ata and the Magic Potty, in exchange for honest review .

The book was cute and I liked the illustrations. The words on the pages could have been a little bigger or a different color to read on the background. I wanted this book because both of my kids are not potty trained. My youngest is learning at school and at home. He will attempt to go more than his brother. Both kids liked looking at the book because  of the colors. I can use it as an aide to teach them about the magic of going to the bathroom and maybe one day, ditching the diapers and pull ups.

You can purchase the book using the link above. The book comes in Kindle and Kindle Unlimited format.

Would a worm go on a walk? Review (FlyBy Blog Promotions)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Would a Worm go on a Walk, in exchange for honest review by FlyBy Blog Promotions. The book was written by Hannah C. Hall and illustrated by Bill Bolton. The book is Christian based.

About the Book:

“Would a worm go on a walk, if you could lead him down the street? / Would he wear his tiny tennies, if he had two worm-sized feet?”

So begins this humorous and imaginative picture book that introduces children to the idea that animals are uniquely created by a loving and wise God. Would a Worm Go on a Walk?,with its colorful, comical illustrations, is a fresh, fun way to teach young children that God created all things very good.

He gave all the animals, and children, too, wonderful qualities and unique strengths. Children will giggle over the ridiculous scenarios presented, and they will come away with the knowledge that we all are loved and special.

About the Author:

Hannah C. Hall is the author of best-selling children’s books, including God Bless You and Good
Night and God Bless Our Christmas, as well as an award-winning blog, HannahCHall.com.

Hannah lives in Prairie Grove, AK with her husband, Josh, a worship pastor, and their four children.

My Review:

The book was a quick read. It was also quite cheesy, yet cute. The book shows how God created animals to be unique and not like anyone or anything else. Worms don't walk and lady bugs don't dance. God wants you to be unique because you are special to him.

You can purchase the book is hardback format only using the link above. .

Adam Solomon's The Alphabet Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read The Alphabet Book, in exchange for honest review. The book was written and photographed by 10 year old, Adam Solomon. The book is a collection of photos. Each photo represents a particular letter. The S, for example, is represented by a curved pipe, while T is represented by bricks in the sidewalk. Mr V is a broom while U is a curve in a tree.

The book was perfect for my kids because they have short attention spans. It also has no words. Kalen loves to point at pictures in books as well.

You can purchase the book on Amazon, using the link above. The book is available in hardback format only. The book is not prime-eligible.

I liked the book because the stories was short. Some was shorter than 5 minutes. I was able to read a few stories within 5 minutes. I liked the book because I can read a two page story to my kids, who have short attention spans. I also love the graphics in the book. Kalen loved the story about how God created day and night with the sun and the moon. The illustrator had a big ball of light and a big ball of darkness.

The Magic of Friendship Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read the The Magic of Friendship by Subhash Kommuru, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book features two characters: Babbar the tiger and Hasmukh, a donkey. You also have birds named Captain and Choto and a blue bird called Ullu. The book is based in India near the Tadoba Forest.

In the book, the birds are flying south for the winter, but the birds worry about running into Babbar, a tiger, who the other animal are afraid of. Babbar has a roar, which has an interesting effect on animals. The book has a lesson, which you learn throughout the book: everyone needs a friend, no matter how scary they are perceived to be. I also loved the graphics in the book .

Words you will come across:

Fly into Fun Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This product contains Amazon Affiliate Links.
I was supposed to review this book Fly Into Fun (Jenna Fun), but didn't have any communication with the author. When I went to add the book to my products not received post, I realized I bought the book during a free promotion.

I also noticed the book underwent a name change. The name of the book to review was skate into fun, but when I clicked on the link, it took me to fly into fun. Yet, when I went to read the book, it was skate into fun.

Fly into Fun is written by Nev Nickelz and illustrated by Mariah Grace. The book is a children's book. The book was a quick read. The book was about Jenna, who wanted to grow up to be a ice skater, then she explored other career opportunities. She was a forest ranger, who protected big foot, and a hula hooper.

The book was a cute read, perfect for small kids. It also rhymes.

I also loved the graphics in the book. They was bright and colorful. Grace did an excellent job.

The Animal Game Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read The Animal Game: Farm Animals, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Christina Alexandria.

The book allows kids to guess an animal from clues, the farmer provides. One clue is a color and the other is a sound.  Or in my case, the book will help improve Kalen's recognition of animals, since he is mostly non verbal. Then, the child finds the animal in the picture. So kids will learn and recognize colors, animal sounds, and discover animals hidden in the pictures.

The book has beautiful, colorful graphics, which will catch Kalen's attention.

You can purchase the book using the link above. The book is available in Kindle and Kindle Unlimited format.

Let's Change That Book Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read Let's Change That!: If Animals Can, We Can, Too!, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Bashar Salame. The book was illustrated by Rainer M. Osinger.

The book is about animals working together to save a friend, despite their differences. I read the book within a few minutes. The animals had to use their strengths and their weaknesses to achieve a task.

The graphics are also awesome. Bright and colorful. The book teaches kids a lesson, that no matter what they are weak in , another friend can help build them up to help them succeed. The book also encourages team work.

You can purchase the book on Amazon, using the link above. The book is available in paperback only. The book is prime-eligible.
