101 Healthy Vegan Asian Food Review by Jonathan Vine Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

I read Cookbook: 101 Healthy Vegan Asian Food (Quick & Easy vegan recipes Book 5), in exchange for honest review. The book was written by Jonathan Vine.

I thought of this book for my nephew, who is a veggie, and my sister, who is vegan. Cooking food for the nephew is hard since he also doesn't eat certain dyes, plus he picky as heck. He likes veggies, but doesn't like a salad, for example.

First, the author provided a list of most common Asian spices. Then, he moves into recipes.

Some of the appetizers, I liked includes:

  • Scallion Pancakes (without the sriracha)
  • Salad on crispy wontons
  • Cabbage rolls
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Spring rolls
  • Sweet Potato pot stickers
Chapter 2 focuses on soups. Some of the soups, I liked include:

  • Pumpkin soup with caramelized peanuts
  • Korean pumpkin creamy soup
Chapter 3 focuses on main dishes. Some of the dishes, I liked include:
  • Peanut Noodles
  • Sticky Rice
  • Mango Sticky Rice
  • Stir fried veggies
  • Stir fried straw veggies
  • Stuffed tomatoes
Chapter 4 focuses on desserts. Some of the desserts, I liked include:

  • Banana Fritters
  • Syrup Pineapple
  • Matcha Ice Cream
  • Sweet potato rolls
  • Grilled pineapple
  • Banana fritters with caramel sauce

You can purchase the book in Kindle format only using the link above.

Kiva Organic Stevia Product Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Kiva Organic Stevia Powder (Natural Sweetener) - Non-GMO, Vegan, Zero-Calories- (Sugar Free, NO AFTERTASTE and GROWN IN USA), 8-Ounce, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I had stopped eating a lot of regular sugar last year and started adding more sugar alternatives to foods, especially smoothies.

I wanted to see how Kiva tasted compared to other substitutes, I use (mostly store brand). Well first, you only use a little Kiva in baking and making smoothies. I learned when I add too much, it changes the flavor of the smoothie too much.

I also recommend putting the container up high, far, far, away from kids. My youngest was attracted to the colors of the bottle and kept pouring it out. No matter where I put it up or hid it, the Destructor kept finding it. The Kiva on the floor and in the air kept getting caught in my throat.

Other than that, the Kiva tastes great in cookies, cakes, and green smoothies. I also added Kiva and Spirulina Powder in Fruit Smoothies. Great combination when you add fruit and ice.
