The Ecology Works Anti-Allergen Detergent Review (Tomoson)

I received The Ecology Works Anti-Allergen Laundry Detergent, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The detergent contains no perfumes, dyes, enzymes, or other allergy triggers. The detergent also works best in cold water.  The cold water also helps remove dust mite allergens, pet dander, mold, mildew, and smoke. TEW also is plant and mineral based. The detergent also smells good.



I wanted to review the detergent for Kalen's clothes. I want his clothes to last longer. Regular detergent does not work well on his school outfits. He also has sensitive skin. His skin is easily bruised. He likes to jump, crawl, move, even if that means getting scratched up.

I also like how the product helps remove mold and mildew allergens. My bathroom (where I keep dirty laundry) has mold and mildew problems due to a leak in the walls/pipes. I spray the bathroom down with bleach on a regular basis to remove this issue. We also have at least one smoker in the house (my sister). She doesn't smoke around him, but the laundry room is next to her room. The smells may travel, while waiting on a load to wash or dry.

The detergent works well on his clothes. I had more stains removed than normal detergent.

I received Eco Nuts Organic Baby Liquid Laundry Soap in exchange from Tomoson. I wanted to review the soap for my children. Kalen, aka Midget loves to mess up his school shirts. I love Garanimals from Wal-Mart and Ruum from Amazon. He goes to school with his shirts clean and comes home with food and other stains.

None of my current detergents are successful at getting all the stains out, neither is Shout helping. I wanted to see if the baby detergent can get out some of these stains. I am cheap and don't like buying uniform shirts each month, even if they 3.99 each lol.

The detergent smells excellent. Smells like strawberries. The detergent also comes in a pump form. I am not quite sure how much to pump, so I just pump 1-5 squeezes depending on the stains.

The laundry also comes out the washer and dryer still smelling good. The eco nuts does a better job at removing some stains, but not all.

You can purchase Eco Nuts Baby Liquid Soap on the website, along with other products. I have used the regular Eco Nuts Detergent before and the dryer balls. The dryer balls are my favorite :-)

I received Soap Nuts Liquid in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Soap Nuts is a natural laundry detergent and fabric softener. The product does not contain any chemicals and it is hypoallergenic. The soap nuts also can be used as a window cleaner.

Instead of using a pod or detergent, you can use two pumps of soap in an high efficiency washer. For an average top washer, you use 3 pumps per load. My washing machine is a top loader HE machine.

What are Soap Nuts?

According to the website, Soap Nuts are fruit from the Chinese Soap Berry Tree. The berries are dried in the sun. The shell of the berries have cleaning powers similar to detergents with chemicals.

My Review

The soap nuts have a pleasant, light scent. The clothes came out the washer smelling wonderful. I normally use pods, but every now and then use powder or detergent. I wanted to try the soap nuts to determine the difference between what I regularly use and this product.
