The serum is light weight if used sparingly. If you add too much, the serum starts feeling heavy and extra oily. Since the product contains hyaluronic acid, the serum also helps moisturize your face. The serum also helps even skin tone and reduces the effects of aging. I also noticed the product does not have a strong smell.

I use the serum after I tone my face and before I moisturize. I let the serum dry first, before adding moisturizer.

by Chris Carley. This post will focus on the author interview.

Author Interview

1) Did you ever pay your father back?

Great question. Of course I paid him back, he made me sign a contract. Yet the moment that sticks out for me quite distinctly is when I drove him and my mom to my home in malibu. He was looking around and he asked "Is this all yours?"

He walked the grounds and asked if I was saving my money, he didn't understand that the residual income came in every month.

2) What are your best and worst recommendations for network marketing companies?

I don't focus on companies I focus on the marketer. Every marketer has to have a strategy to become successful. They have to give samples, they have to market and talk to their people, and they have to really be out there and market themselves.


3) What are your goals for the future?
I wrote the book "The Millionaire Within Us" to really start helping network marketers the control back. I have been so successful that I promised God I would give back when I could. Now it's time, in fact it's long over due. I really want to share how I became successful . It's a blessing that I don't ever take for granted.

4) Do you still make financial mistakes? if so, name one and what did you learn from it

In the early days I bought fancy cars, joined Donald Trump private clubs. I don't think they are financial mistakes, but I have appreciated my charity work more. Giving is really far better than receiving. When I was in India I saw such abject poverty, that it hurt my heart. I knew it wasn't right and I realized that this is happening all over the world. I went from a $10.75/HR factory worker to a multimillionaire and the worse part about it is that I wish I had more of my friends and family right here with me.


5) What tips can you give to someone just starting out?
My whole book is one giant tip. Lol. I really believe in the concepts of giving away samples and guerilla marketing. Use the words free, guarantee, and let people use the product. Never sell anything you don't use our don't believe in.

6) What are a few ways to grow money versus losing money?
The best way to grow your money is to work hard. Don't ever do anything you don't believe in.

Fractionated Coconut Oil Review (Tomoson)

I received Fractionated Coconut 16 Oz Carrier Oil , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the product to make a few DIY home beauty and facial products. The oil is a base for homemade DIY versus cooking coconut oil. For example, I mixed the coconut oil with a dash of peppermint and tea tree oil, with cocoa butter, for an impromptu vaporub when I was sick a few weeks ago. I am still trying to experiment with coconut oil and the other essential oils, I have. I need to buy some bottles and jars, instead of ziplock bags :-)

I also found some books on Amazon about Coconut Oil today. I provided a list of the first few books, but there are plenty more. Coconut Oil can be used in cleansers, deodorant, and body butter. You can use it to add shine to your hair and apparently weight loss.

Learn to Dance Salsa DVDS (Tomoson)

I received Salsa Dancing Lessons, Beginners Salsa 3 Pack DVD SET: Salsa Dance Lessons (3 DVDs), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The set was created by the makers of Dance Crazy, Salsa Crazy, and Bachata Crazy.

The collection comes with 3 DVDS, teaching beginning Salsa techniques. I also liked the history and outtakes on the first DVD. I also like how the male instructor discusses what he will teach before the lessons begin. The first thing, he teaches is rhythm and timing. He doesn't give his name though. He does encourage people to count out loud on the steps they step on. Salsa Dancing, according to him, has 8 steps. If you pause, then you don't count. This is helpful to me because I have no rhythm.

I wanted to review the product because my mother is always complaining about being on E or being close to E, less than 25 miles from where she needs to go.

Everytime, we go somewhere, a trip to the gas station is eventual, because she gets close to the final drop.

I received the Strainer 8" Metal, Fine Mesh, Everyday Kitchen Jobs A Breeze: Tea, gravy, Sauce, Fits Over Pots, Pans & Bowls, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I wanted to review it because the house had no strainer, which is not good when you need to drain pasta or other foods, with too much liquids.

The product worked great for small food items, such as tuna or canned veggies, for example. When I cooked a medium pot of pasta, I struggled with the strainer. The handle was hard to flip and turn. It wasn't sturdy, so I had to strain the pasta in small batches to finish the meal.

My Review

I wanted to read the book because I am the mother of two autistic boys. The book is about Benny, who wants a dog, but his father and step mother doesn't want him to have one. His parents told him he has to bring up his grades, but Benny struggles with making straight As. One day, Benny's mother forgets to pick him up from school and he walks home. On the way home, he runs into an abandoned dog kennel, near his home, because he heard a puppy whimpering. 

The book was a good read. I liked Manning's writing style. Even though, I am not a dog person, I wanted Benny to have a dog in the beginning of the book

I received the Microwave Oven Baking Cooking Splatter Guard, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the product because some things do not need to be spilled in the microwave. Maybe it's the bowl of chili, which starts popping and hits the sides or the bowl of soup, which overspills.

My sister loves cooking all sorts of interesting things in the microwave and the spills hit the sides and tops of the microwave. One of the most tedious tasks is cleaning the microwave. Someone has to clean the glass turn table. Then, you need soap and water to clean the sides. You also have to clean the doohickey beneath the glass, which helps the glass turn. Not to mention, the outside and underneath the microwave.

The Microwave oven baking cooking splatter guard allows you to cover your bowls, plates, and cups to minimize spills. Don't forget you have to wash the guard after every use. You don't want your cheeses and sauces sticking to the lid for days and weeks at a time.

The guard also does not have sides, so some liquids can still escape from the sides of your plates. Use of bowls is preferred.

I read My Little Life of Jesus (My Little Bible), in exchange for honest review from Kregel Blog Tours. The book was written by Karen Williamson and illustrated by Amanda Enright.

My little life of Jesus presents 6 stories, starting with the first Christmas or the birth of Jesus.  The book also briefly discusses when Jesus was 12 and went to the temple. OR maybe your kids want to learn about John the Baptist baptizing Jesus.

Your kids will learn about the disciples, some parables, and some miracles. Finally, your kids will learn about the death and resurrection of Jesus.


The book also had great, colorful, illustrations. I also liked the briefness of each story. Some kids, like mine, have short attention spans. For Kalen, I summarize each page and he points to the pictures.
