The Inside Out Grilled Cheese Changes Everything: Recipe from PlateFull Co-Op

this looks delicious

The Inside Out Grilled Cheese Changes Everything

Grilled cheeses are an important part of our lives. They're there when it's cold . There when we had a bad day. They're even there when we have a bowl of tomato soup . Grilled cheeses are such a vital part of our getting by in life that we're always looking for ways to make it even better -- like covering it in gold . Many have tried to top this mighty sandwich, and many have failed (as much as we love chocolate chip cookies, we don't want them in our grilled cheese ). Except for one...Read More

Target Fiber One Bars Campaign

I received Fiber One Bars, in exchange for honest review from PlateFull Co-Op. The bars are only sold at Target.

I received a box of Caramel Sea Salt Bars. I loved the bars. Just the right amount of sweet and salty. The Fiber One Bars are 90 calories each. The caramel bar is also soft-baked, like a cake or a crumble.

Target also sells lemon, chocolate fudge, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate chip,  and cinnamon coffee cake soft-baked bars, in addition to the meal,  chewy and protein bars.

Buy a pack of fiber one bars, next time to go to Target. :-)

Cheerios Cheer on Reading Campaign (PlateFull Co-Op)

I received a two boxes of Cheerios (Chocolate and Plain), in response to a campaign from
PlateFull Co-Op. All opinions are my own.

The Cheer on Reading Campaign provides one out of six books in boxes of Cheerios.

  1. 1, 2, 3 peas
  2. Please baby please
  3. That's what I do
  4. Bear says thanks
  5. Chicks run wild
  6. Jump

I received copies of 1, 2, 3 Peas, for my boys. The campaign wants to encourage families to read together.

The website also has box and book activities for kids to participate in, using cheerios. The activities are printable.

My kids loved the chocolate cheerios. Between my boys and my great niece, they went through an half a box quick. The children also loved the plain cheerios. Look for a book in a box of cheerios, the next time you go to the store :-)

Target Big G Campaign (PlateFull Co-Op)

I received Cheerios and a comic book, in response to the Target Big G campaign from PlateFull Co-Op.

My kids, nieces, and nephews love cheerios. Cheerios do not last long in this house. Honey nut. plain cheerios. anything, which is round and small.

The box lasted two days.  What was new about the campaign was for a limited time, cheerios comes with a limited edition justice league comic book.

I have not read a comic book since I was a kid. I loved superman, archie, veronica, jughead, etc. Love the comic.

I saw a few other comics when I went to the store today in a few cheerios boxes.

Get your limited edition comic before they run out. :-)

Target Busy Family Campaign (Platefull Co-Op)

Disclosure: The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through Platefull Co-Op.:
I received a Target Busy Family Pack from Platefull Co-op.

The packaged contained the following:

  • 1 pouch Nature Valley® Protein Granola
  • 1 box Nature Valley® Granola Bars
  • 1 box Honey Nut Cheerios® Medley Crunch™ cereal
  • 1 box Trix® cereal
  • 1 package Quaker® Oats
  • 1 jar Jif® peanut butter
  • 1 package Nutella® mini cups
  • 1 pouch Grandma Hoerner’s® Big Slice™ apples snack

The mission was to re-invent breakfast. One of the first things I did was to create a simple breakfast of nutella and granola mix. I simply mixed the nutella, peanut butter, and granola mix in a bowl together. For another twist, I dipped the granola bars in the nutella and ate the bars for breakfast.

The kids gravitated towards the Trix and Cheerios. The boxes of cereal was gone within two days. The nutella and peanut butter was gone was well.

Next, I mixed the apples with the granola for another treat. My youngest really loved the granola to the point where he poured out the rest all over the floor. yay me.

Finally, my nephew ate the oatmeal plain.

Cheerios Multigrain Dark Chocolate Flavor Product Review (Platefull Co-op)

I received Cheerios Multigrain Dark Chocolate, in exchange for honest review from Platefull Co-Op. I received the cereal two days ago. Needless to say, it is gone now and I want some more. I loved the cereal and so did my two- year old son, and my one-year old great niece.

I wanted to try the Cheerios Dark Chocolate because it was new and exciting. I am not a big fan of regular cheerios, not because they are not good, but because the toddlers like to throw cheerios (and other cereal) all over the floor. The Dark Chocolate was excellent. I ate half the box before I realized it. The dark chocolate mixes in regular cheerios with dark chocolate cheerios. No milk is needed.

Kalen hijacked my cereal today and ate the other half of the box, not to mention the part, which hit the floor. I definitely will be buying more Dark Chocolate in the future.
