#USArtSupply Manga Marker Pad Review (Tomoson)

I received U.S. Art Supply 9" x 12" Premium Manga-Marker Paper Pad, 60 Pound (100gsm), Pad of 24-Sheets, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The paper is glossy and thin, but not too thin. I haven't drew like I used to in high school and in graphic design school, but drawing and doodling is a great way to clear your head and use your creativity.

The manga marker paper is great for pencil, ink pen, and marker. So far, I tried Chalk Marker, which did bleed some, but not much. The colors on the page, was still brilliant. I also tried Gel ink pen, which did not bleed at all. The colors were still bright. I do recommend not touching the gel ink until it dries because it can smear.

Wedgits Review (Tomoson)

I received Wedgits Imagination Set, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I received 15 pieces in the imagination set. The wedgits come in different sizes with angles. The angles allow you to create unique designs and creations. Some pieces can also be hidden to create support pieces. Smaller pieces can also fit at different angles inside the bigger pieces.

I got this mainly for Kalen, who has fine motor issues. He took to the blocks immediately. He kept to simple 1-3 piece creations before throwing them around the room. The pieces are easy to pick up and create with. This is one design, I seen on the Wedgits website. You also get a book of creations for all the sets. You can get ideas from the pictures in the catalogue. Some of the ideas require additional sets.

You can also combine the imagination set with other sets, similar to legos. The website has different sets for various ages, Such as 1-3, 2-10, 5 and up, and 5-12. You can also purchase design cards to give you ideas for your child's creations.

Bridges of Creativity by Suzy Liebermann Book Review (Tomoson)

I read BRIDGES OF CREATIVITY - THE ISLAND OF CREATIVITY (HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH - Island Adventures 5: Educational Children's Book Collection), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The book was written by Suzy Liebermann and published by Happy Language Kids.

The book is about Hugo the Happy Starfish, who arrives at the Island of Creativity. To enter the island, he must use his imagination and creativity.

The book teaches kids about imagination and creativity. The book also teaches kids to be original and not copy others.

My kids love Liebermann's books because they are short. Great for their attention span. The book took me less than 5 minutes to read.

The Missing Alphabet

I chose this book because I enjoyed critical thinking in college. The topic interested me. The book discussed how children will be affected in the future. How will children respond to their culture and environment. Parents need to educate kids on creativity, innovation, problem solving, and curiosity. Reading, writing, and math are not the basics anymore. Kids are sensory creatures-they like sounds, images, technology, and look for an immediate response and/or feedback.

Parents also need to teach kids observation and how making mistakes are ok. Kids also need to learn patterns, computer skills, nonverbal skills, conceptual skills, and individuality.

next, the book discussed the sensory vocabulary: line, shape, color, texture, space, sound, light, movement, and rhythm. I loved the book and I highly recommend it.
