Secure Tot Child Locks Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Secure Tots Magnetic Child Locks, exchange for honest review. I love magnetic locks. The locks are easy to install since I had some before, but these come with screws so you can secure them into place.

In the kit, you get four locks (heads and locks), screws, and the magnet to open them up. I do recommend hiding the magnet where you can remember, but no where the kids can find. Nothing like locking a cabinet, but can't open it back because you forgot where the magnet is (been there multiple times).

The ones, I had before, I applied a piece of tape over them because they kept moving around.  Of course, they kept the kids out the cabinets, but not my daddy when he fixed a leak under the sink and ripped them off accidently.

I needed some new ones for the bathroom cabinets (at my old place now) and I could use them at the new apartment as well. I am having trouble installing them here because of the cabinet layout. The depth is different from the cabinets at my mama's house.

You can purchase the locks using the link above. The locks are prime-eligible.

Brilliant Babyz Magnetic Safety Baby Locks Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Child Safety Cabinet Locks, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The set came with 4  heads, 4 locks, 1 magnet, and 4 outlet covers.

I have reviewed similar locks before and knew how to install them. I did a better job this time around and didn't need tape to make sure the locks and head stayed in place.

I used two of the cabinet locks to replace two of the old locks in the bathroom. I had a leaky sink and let my dad fix the issue. Instead of waiting for me to go get the magnet to unlock the cabinets, he pulled the cabinets open with his hands and knocked off both heads.

The locks do come with a guide to help line up the heads and locks to lock perfectly. I also recommend a permanent marker, to mark the head and lock alignment. It comes in handy later. I also recommend keeping the magnet in a easy to remember place. I keep my magnet in the closet (holder attached to the wall), so my kids won't have access.

Safety Baby Self Closing Outlet Covers Review (Tomoson)

Safety Baby Self-Closing Electrical Outlet Covers

Outlet near Kalen Bed.

I received Safety Baby Self-Closing Outlet Covers - 3 pack, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I wanted these because my youngest has now figured how to plug in things correctly in the outlets, even though I don't want him too. he has a heart monitor. His heart monitor plus electricity does not go together. The plugs were easy to install over the existing outlets. I also had no issues plugging and unplugging items from the outlets with the new covers.

All you need is a screwdriver to remove the old cover, then install the new cover with the one middle screw. The two white dots go into the existing two holes on the self-closing cover for decoration.

I first changed out the outlet near Kalen bed. The old outlet cover was cracked. I had patched around the area months ago to cover some existing wall damage. Even though the outlet is not used, since Kalen sleeps too close to the outlet, I needed to cover it. I had bought an existing outlet cover, but part of the middle prong broke off. I had to remove the middle piece first, then screwed on the new cover.

I also changed out the cover by my closet wall. This is one of the locations, where I plug up the vacuum or my oil diffuser. I used one of the old covers to use as a cover for the outlet behind the tv since it didn't have one. I didn't put a child lock cover there since both outlets are always in use (TV and surge protector).

outlet by my closet wall.
To use the outlet, use the prongs of whatever you are plugging up and move it to the side.

Purple Safety Magnetic Child Locks Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer:This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Purple Safety Magnetic Baby Safety Lock , in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The magnetic locks are no drill, which is good for me. I wanted child locks in the bathroom cabinets. The cabinets hold my carpet cleaner attachments and accessories, broom heads, and mop bucket.

The kit comes with a magnetic lock, 4 heads, and 4 locks. The instructions are also included. You also need a way to mark where the lock meets the cabinet door. The marks also help you with alignment, if you mess up and have to readjust the locks. You have to place the lock in place first, with the gap facing the cabinet door. Then you try to align up the head with the lock.

I had issues aligning the lock and head up perfectly, which is why I starting marking each location so I know where to move the head next. I moved it so many times, the head started falling off. I ended up taping the head down, once perfect. I had no issues since installing the locks, except my daddy.

The other day, he came over here to fix some issues around the house. He fixed nothing, except something, which was stuck in the sink. I went to go get the lock and before I made it back to the bathroom (next to my room), he opened up both cabinets and pulled off the child locks with it. Luckily, they are easy to reinstall since the marks are still there. Just have to find the tape.

When the locks was installed, you simply got the key and placed over the cabinet door to open. This is also where the marks come in handy. The marks tell you where the child lock is so you don't be trying to move the magnet all over the cabinet door, looking for the child lock.

The child lock also comes with a on/off switch. Flip it on and the cabinets, lock. Turn it off, and the lock is temporarily disabled.

I keep the key in my closet, also protected by a child lock. Each piece of the child lock comes with an adhesive backing.

The Cover Plug Review and Giveaway (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received the The COVERPLUG 2-Pack Electrical Outlet Cover, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the cover plug because I have two outlets in the room, which goes unused. The one between the kids beds is one of them. The outlet works, but it is cracked, plus one of the brats punched a hole in the wall. Normally, Brad's bed is over the outlet because Kalen falls out of the bed.

I used the cover plug to cover the outlet between the beds and another plug, to cover the outlet behind the book case. The plug was easy to install. The prongs fit inside the bottom outlet hole. Within minutes, the entire outlet is covered.
