I read Tea with the Queen
, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Chrissi Hart and illustrated by Stephen Macquignon. The book was published by Xist Publishing.The book is about a family of rats (Grandma Hattie, Grandpa Arthur, and Charlie), at least I think they are rats, who are going on an adventure (with Percy the Goose, he may be a goose) to have tea with the queen. Grandma Hattie is 100 years old and has invited two guests to Buckingham Palace with her. Go on the journey with them.
The book was a quick read with excellent illustrations. I don't recommend the book for early readers. Some paragraphs are longer than a traditional quick read. Kalen loved pointing at the pictures though.
