I received the Astor Extra Large Electric Swatter for Flies, Mosquitos, Wasps & Other Insects in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the swatter because I love killing bugs, especially the flying kind.

The swatter is battery-powered. You press the button on the side and the product is turned on. As long as you are holding the button, the product is on and you can kill bugs. The swatter does make a little noise. You can hear the buzzing noise from the metal wires.

The family has used the swatter to kill ants, flies, mosquitoes, and roaches. My niece went swatter crazy since I got the product and I hardly seen it since the first week. From killing bugs inside to killing the mosquitoes in the garden outside, the swatter does work wonders.

I went outside to the garden to test the mosquito and fly theory.

Now, to the bad stuff, My niece went on a bug spree and the plastic on the side started burning from excessive use. I put the swatter in a hidden location for a few days and the product still worked. I also would recommend keeping the product away from kids. My niece shocked a few people too.

I wanted to review the product to protect the inside from flies and mosquitos. I also wanted to watch the kids play from the inside of the house and not leave the door wide open, for bugs to fly in.

The product was easy to install. The company has a helpful video on Youtube. You simply lay the door flat. Match up one side of the video to the doors. Cut as needed to make the velcro fit. Then, apply on the outside of your door frame. Slowly. Remove the velcro tape as needed starting in the top middle.

Then move to the sides. Finally, use nails to secure the velcro.

I made a mistake and applied on the inside. Wrong move, Stacie. The paint came off when I had to remove the velcro at the top.

I finally applied the velcro on the outside door frame. I couldn't find the nails. The door fell down quick. I found the nails the next day, behind my bed. Once, I hammered the nails in, the door has stayed in place since.
