My Review:
The CD has an upbeat tone. The chapters are short enough to capture a child's attention. Aoede (A E DE) is a musical muse. Aoede wants to find love. She been blessing people with her music for centuries but still has not found love. She has an youthful look, but still has not found love. Aoede wonder if love is a fairy tale? She sets out on a quest, meeting colorful characters on her way, such as a frog and a man, growing fancy carrots. Her new acquaintances teach her to find happiness in the little things.
Aoede does fall for Mr. Wonderful for the wrong reasons. Her fairy GodMother tells her she is thinking with emotions, instead of logic. Aoede continues to look for love. :-). Will she find it?
