Lightning Fast Spanish Book Review (Tomoson)

I read Lightning Fast Spanish, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted the book to refresh my Spanish skills. I took Spanish in high school. My grades was wonderful--A in Spanish 1, B in Spanish 2, and C in Spanish III. I know some basics but need to refresh and relearn Spanish.

The book was easy to understand, even the exercises. For example, in the chapter on clothes, the author provides a list of clothing with English translations. The author said to practice teaching your kids clothing items by asking questions. Do you want los pantalones or la falda ? (pants or skirt)?

I like how the book wants to immerse Spanish into every day life versus trying to memorize flash cards or using a translator, like I did in high school. I got confused, in high school, on the different tenses; past, present, future and how to conjugate verbs into the different tenses.

You can purchase the book, using the link above in Kindle or Paperback format. . The book also has an audible companion, you can purchase. The book is prime-eligible.

GeoPuzzle World Spanish Map Review (Tomoson)

I received The GeoPuzzle World in Spanish - Educational Geography Jigsaw Puzzle (68 pieces), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The puzzle comes with 68 pieces. Some are big and some are small. Keep out of reach from children, who like to hide puzzle pieces

The puzzle is a great educational tool, which teaches the countries of the world in Spanish (geography). The puzzle is also a challenge in itself (fine motor tool): The pieces do not have smooth round or square edges. There are a few country pieces, cut out into its own shape.

The puzzle took me about 30 minutes to complete. The kids was woke and pieces kept coming up missing.

Pimsleur Approach Gold Edition Product and Video Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon affiliate links.

I received PIMSLEUR SPANISH LEVEL 1 - Learn Spanish w/Dr. Pimsleur's Famous Spanish Language Learning Course, Featured on PBS. Beginner Spanish to Intermediate Fast! - Press Play, Listen & Learn the Spanish Language - 30 Spanish Lessons/16 Audio CDs, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The CDs allow people to learn spanish by repetition versus traditional methods of paper and pencil. I wanted to review the cds to improve my spanish. I have not taken spanish since high school. I struggled more in spanish 2 and 3. The lessons completed so far have been fun. I have learned new words, in addition to learning to conjugate, which I struggled with in high school. The lessons focus on repetition. When you are ready to move to the next lesson, pop in the next CD.

What I did was burn the first few CDs to the computer. When I master those, I will burn the next few.

The product is sold on Amazon. The product is not prime-eligible and is only available through third party sellers.
