Volmate 16 LED Solar Light Review (Tomoson)

I received the Volmate 16 LED Solar Power Motion Sensor Garden Security Lamp Outdoor Waterproof Light Weatherproof (No Batteries Required), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted the light because I don't do heights and the porch light is too far up.

I changed out the porch light once, but was scared to death. It also didn't help that one of the toddlers kept running around the ladder after I started. God was on my side.

The light comes with the light, the screws, and a pin to turn on manually. The installation was harder than I thought because the column was not solid wood. It seems to be a plastic component, then it hits a solid wall on the inside. It took some maneuvering to get the light installed, and a good hammer. My drill couldn't handle the composite, weird material. I also used a manual screwdriver to tighten the screws as well.

The light has worked well sometimes, but because of the angle, some days, it doesn't get enough sun light. I want to adjust the angle, but that composite material is not worth it yet. I want a way to swing it out into the sun, but also swing it back at night. If you know any ideas, let me know.

I received Zitrades Motion Sensored Night Light in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The light runs on 4 AA batteries. You can either turn it on via the button at the bottom (high and low light) plus the motion sensor light. To use the motion sensor light, it must be completely dark around the light. I been noticing after 9 is the best time. At first, I wasn't sure if it worked or not. Then,a few days ago, I went to the potty and viola, the light came on. Luckily, it doesn't pick up on the light from the bathroom. I usually leave the light on at night because I lock the bathroom door and need to see how to open it.

The hardest part was installing the light on the wall. Luckily, the battery compartment slides off. I marked the locations with a hole, using the screwdriver. Next, I worked the screw driver in the hole until it was big enough to handle an anchor screw. Finally, I screwed the battery compartment into the wall first, then slid the light unit onto the battery compartment. Trying to install the night light as a whole unit was too much of a challenge. You also have the option of using the 3m double sided tape as an option as well, if you want a no drill/no screwdriver installation.
