In December, I was watching Dr. Oz. I normally don't watch his show, but I couldn't find the remote.
During the show, I saw the most interesting product, I wanted to review, The Squatty Potty, which helps you poop better. I had a bout of constipation recently. Even when taking a colon cleanse, things were hard to move still at times. I needed help without relying on probiotics and colon cleanses. They are good but I can't be in the bathroom all day or all night long.
Reviewing the Squatty Potty required one of the hardest things, I had to do in blogging, make a phone call. I have a journalism degree and I had to make calls to ask for interviews. I had to get over my fear and ask to review. The website had no email address so I had to call the company and ask if I could review the Squatty Potty. They said yes.
Then, while waiting for the potty to arrive, I saw this amazing video about Squatty Potty on Facebook.

According to the website and info I gathered from watching Dr. Oz, when you normally sit on the potty, your colon is crooked. With the squatty potty, your colon is straightened out and poo comes out more easily.
The potty comes in the 7 inch or 9 inch sizes. To use, you simply slide the potty under your toilet. When you use the bathroom, you are squatting versus sitting up straight. You will see a change in how long you stay in the bathroom. I wish there was a foldable, portable version, for when you are on the go. The Squatty Potty is also easy to clean and requires no assembly.
Things move a lot faster when using the squatty potty. You will notice the difference when using other non-squatty potty toilets. This has saved me time in the bathroom. Using the squatty potty has been some of the best few weeks of my life, even the baby is using the potty when he tries to use the toilet.

I was not sure what to expect when applying for this product, but I am happy to say, the product works too well. The product helps relieve gas and keeps your digestive system regular. I take 2-3 capsules before I go to bed at night. The first night, I felt regular for 3 days before taking another set. After taking the pills, the medicine worked immediately for gas. I also noticed an increase in bowel movements. I do recommend using a stool softener. Your body will be regular but doesn't mean it will make your bowels move easy. After taking the pills on a daily basis, I definitely been making frequent bathroom trips, every few hours. You also will be gassy on a regular basis.
