The bottom of the gourd is great for gripping, while you blend your make-up on your face. The gourd is very soft and easy to use. The pointed end is great for application of make-up around your eyes and nose, while the bigger side is great for wider areas.
I haven't had any issues, using the product, such as streaking. I normally have issues when I use my fingers to apply foundation.
