I read Misconceptions, in exchange for honest review from BookLook Bloggers. The book was written by Steven Reider. The book is Christian-based. The author wanted to present the bible, in an easy to understand manner, from a Hebrew perspective. Reider explained some of the concepts in the bible was not explained fully because at the time, the Hebrew people understood the cultural norms presented and didn't need a full explanation.
One of the first things, the book discussed was whether Jesus was poor and homeless. Other things I found interesting was the author said the word Christianity never appeared in the bible and the word Christian appeared a few times. Next, the author discussed how the Old Testament still has relevance today and some of the prophecies in the OT have not been fulfilled yet. I have heard many times the OT is not relevant as the new testament.
You can read more misconceptions in the book.
You can purchase the book, using the link above. The book is prime-eligible. The book is available in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover.
