During the first use, it calmed him down for a few minutes, then he went on to sleep. He was cranky at the time and nothing I was doing was calming him down.
Kalen has been walking around chewing on the necklace since it arrived. I also wear it around my neck (recommended) for those moments where he may need it and not know it yet.
