In the matter of Nikola Tesla Book review and Tour

Nikola

I read In a matter of Nikola Tesla, in exchange for honest review from Lighting Book Promotions. The book was written by Anthony Flacco. The Book was published by Diversion Books.

About the book: (copied from the media kit)

This fictionalized story of the true-life genius NIKOLA TESLA—arguably the most influential inventor in history—offers a “young-to-old” portrayal in the form of “A Romance of the Mind.” It reveals his impassioned inner life and his secret love for Karina, the muse no one else can see who brings him life-altering inspirations. Karina may be invisible to others but she is exquisitely real to him. It is for her, for the life and the work that she shares with him, that this gallant, passionate man maintains a loner’s life even when he is working among many others and subject to their constant temptations.

My review:

The book starts out with Thomas Edison watching a fire at Tesla's building. He is wondering if Tesla died in the fire. The year was 1895 in Menlo Park, New Jersey. Edison was gloating while watching the fire. Tesla had made some comments recently, which tried to discredit Edison. Edison is fighting back temptation to visit Tesla's building, in the morning, to see if Tesla is alive or dead. He is holding that inside. (which raises a good point. A lot of people fight temptation by trying to hold it inside, instead of facing temptation with the power and armor of God.). Then, the book goes back 21 years later. Tesla's father and a doctor was talking about how Tesla, 18 years old,  showed up at a funeral, uninvited. Tesla was also sick. Tesla wanted to harness visualization to see Karina (girl, who died) to tell her his feelings about her. The next few pages discusses how Tesla met Karina, in addition to his feelings. Tesla completed his visionalization, in addition to the image talking. Karina left the room and Tesla followed. Karina is the muse in Tesla's head.

Next, The start of the book was very descriptive and scenic. Had me wanting to read more. My only issue with the book was trying to adjust the font for Kindle for PC. It was too small at first.
