About Child Advocates Inc.
Child Advocates, Inc mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the cicious cycle of child abuse. Volunteers speak up for abused children who are lost in the system and guide them into safe environments where they can thrive. Child Advocates, Inc has served more than 21,000 children in Harris County since 1984. Child Advocates, Inc is not a United Way agency and has to rely on donations to support more than 75% of the budget.2013 Stats

- Trained 1219 new court appointed advocate volunteers
- Worked on 1,300 cases, and 740 volunteers collectively gave more than 60,000 hours of their time

- The cost for Child Advocates to serve a child in 2013 was $1,700
