The derma roller contains 540 mini needles, which you roll over the skin to help with sagging skin, stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines, deep scars, and acne scarring.

I was intrigued by the product, when I saw it for review. I have stretch marks on the belly, thighs, and arms. I wanted to see if it works. Took a few minutes before I decided to roll the needles on and it didn't hurt.

You roll the derma roller over an area of skin horizontally, vertically, and diagonally 10 times each. After use, you can apply your favorite product on. I use rose hip oil after a treatment.

I have noticed some difference in one area of my belly but I have to wait to see how the other areas will be affected..

OmniHolder Universal Car Mount Review (Tomoson)

I received the OmniHolder Car Mount in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the product because of my mother. She texts and drives. She answers the phone, while driving. She is a distracted driver.

Even though, she has bluetooth in the car, to answer her phone for her, when certain folks call, she turns the screen into privacy mode and the phone heads to her ear.

I thought the universal holder would be great for her phone or her GPS.

The mount has two methods for installation: a suction cup and a sticky pad. The family used the sticky pad to the dashboard. The mount came in handy because a few days later, we was on vacation.

The mount was tricky to install for me. I couldn't figure it out, but my niece figured it out quickly and got it installed.

The mount also is adjustable horizontally or vertically.  My mother can use it vertically for her phone and horizontally for her GPS.

The mount was also easy to remove. Someone had taken the mount out of the car when we arrived back home from the Bahamas and easy to put back in place.

GeoPuzzle World Spanish Map Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links

I received The GeoPuzzle World in Spanish - Educational Geography Jigsaw Puzzle (68 pieces), in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The puzzle comes with 68 pieces. Some are big and some are small. Keep out of reach from children, who like to hide puzzle pieces

The puzzle is a great educational tool, which teaches the countries of the world in Spanish (geography). The puzzle is also a challenge in itself (fine motor tool): The pieces do not have smooth round or square edges. There are a few country pieces, cut out into its own shape.

The puzzle took me about 30 minutes to complete. The kids was woke and pieces kept coming up missing.

BustBomb Cream Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images

I received  Cream + Progesterone - Enhancement Cream for Women - Paraben-free! Promotional Price!, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The cream is supposed to enhance and lift saggy breasts, such as mine. I always had big breasts. I remember starting off with a training bra and the next size, I remember is 44DDs. I had the second biggest boobs in elementary school by the 2nd grade. I developed my feminine side early. The other girl was in the 4th at the time.

My breasts have sagged for the longest, even when I actually wore a bra daily. I wanted to see if the cream would at least lift my breasts a little, which is why I applied for the promotion.

I also received the BustBomb - Top Rated Breast Enlargement / Bust Enhancement / Acne Treatment Natural Herbal Pills for Women - 90 Capsules - Best Value!.

First, I took the pills for about a week before they came up missing. I can not fully review the pills. The pills came in capsule form with powder on the inside. The pills had a slight medicine taste.

Next, the bust bomb cream, I used daily. I did not notice a lift, but I noticed my breasts a little fuller. I apply the cream after I bathe. You rub the cream on parts you want lifted or fuller. According to Amazon, you are supposed to use the product for 3 months before noticing a change.  I will update in 3 months.

I received WaterMark Plus and Collage It Pro 3 in exchange for honest review from Pearl Mountain Technology. The Software is available for OS X and iOS on Macs.

You can use the software to watermark your photos from theft, for example. You can add your copyright information to the photos.

Picture Collage Maker  3

The Picture Collage Maker 3 allows you to make photo collages using your photos on your computer.I used my vacation pictures to create the collages for the review. I tried to make collages with other online software, but the process took too long to upload pics. Then, inspiration hit, use Picture Collage Maker.

I can use the photos in the iPhoto folder from the vacation. I can see all the pics in the side window and pick out the best ones to use in the collage.

Presence Learning Navigating Emotions Review (Tomoson)

I read Navigating Emotions in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the book because I have two children and I do not always understand their emotions. Kalen for example, has no pain sensor. He can bump his head, not cry, get up, and go do something else. The kids also do not have empathy for others emotions. I could be on the verge of a breakdown and they just stare.

I wanted to know how to navigate the emotions that they have, no matter which ones and if they don't display some of them.

I definitely feel irritated at times, especially on how the boys respond to each other.

The book discusses how to navigate your emotions when parenting gets too intense. Screaming and fussing at my kids do not work. Brad will fuss and scream back. Kalen will scream too and want to be held.

Walking away does not help because my kids will follow you. Hiding in the bathroom does not help either because my kids will knock on the door.

And I definitely have to be careful around Kalen since he has the breath holding spells. If he continues to have them, He will first get another 24 hour Holter Monitor, and then surgery to install a temporary heart monitor for 3 years.

The book is 30 pages long and provides tips on how parents can manage their emotions. The first thing, the book discusses is SAFE

  1. Stop and Notice What is going on with your mind and body
  2. Accept and acknowledge how you feel
  3. Feel fully without acting verbally or physically on your emotions
  4. Exit if necessary to be safe with your feeling and emotions.
Other tips include just sitting down, even in the middle of a chaos, to try to gain control. I have done this. Sometimes it works.

The author also recommends having a good shout to voice what you are feeling. Another idea is to be silent and let your mind rest. Or you can call a friend to vent and voice concerns.

I loved reading the book. The book was a quick read the first time, but I can pull up these techniques as needed when my kids overwhelm me, which is daily.

The Magic Quirt Review (Galaxy Press)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

I read the Magic Quirt, The (Stories from the Golden Age), in exchange for honest review from Galaxy Press. The book was written by L. Ron Hubbard. First thing, I wanted to know was what a quirt was.

According to Wikipedia, "a quirt is a forked type of stock whip, which usually has two falls at the end....sometimes called a riding quirt, horse quirt, or a dog quirt."

The quirt can be made from "leather, buffalo, or cowhide" with the core "usually a leather bag filled with lead shot, the main part including the handle is often made from braided rawhide, leather, or kangaroo hide, and is usually somewhat stiff, but flexible."

A quirt can be used as punishment "to slap or goad cattle from horseback." A quirt is also used as a noisemaker.

The book is about Old Laramie, who is a cook for Lazy G Ranch. He is in the middle of reading a book on the occult and black magic. He accepts a silver-mounted, magic quirt from a Hispanic family, he saved from bandits. Laramie starts thinking he is powerful, since he has the quirt and goes on a journey to show his new skills and techniques.

Old Laramie is not happy with the new management. Lee Jacoby is the ranch's foreman, who treats Laramie like a second-class citizen. Jacoby is also not happy with Laramie's food to the point where he tosses it out at the beginning of the book. Laramie is the last men left from the original management.

Laramie is quite a character. I read along with the book, while the audio played. The book was action-packed. Laramie killed two people before page 30 (book).

The book does contain adult language.

The book is available in Audio CD, Audible AudioBook, Kindle, and Print format. The CDS come in a set of 2 and is about 2 hours long.  The CDS also come with two stories: Vengeance is Mine and Stacked Bullets

The Berenstain Bears Blessed are the Peacemakers review (BookLook Bloggers)

I review for BookLook Bloggers

I read The Berenstain Bears Blessed are the Peacemakers (Berenstain Bears/Living Lights) by Mike Berenstain in exchange for honest review from BookLook Bloggers. The book talks about a school play, Brother and Sister are participating in.

Then, you have the two feuding factions of the school: Too Tall and his gang versus Ferdy Factual and his people. They do not get along. Brother and Sister Bear try to make peace between the two gangs to be able to successfully finish the school play.

The book was a quick read, which is good for my boys. I also love the graphics. The book also has questions and activities for families to do on the inside back cover.

The book also has religious/Christian themes inside.

Reasons my kid is crying by Greg Pembroke Book Review (Blogging for Books)

Disclaimer: This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I read Reasons My Kid Is Crying (Paperback) - Common by Greg Pembroke, in exchange for honest review from Blogging for Books. I received a paperback copy of the book.

Pembroke took photos from his children and  readers of his blog: Reasons my son is crying and developed the ideas into a book. The book shows photos of children crying, next to the reasons why.

I decided to compile a few photos of Kalen (my son) and Sariyah (great-niece) crying over the past few years.

In this pic, the top left pic was Kalen crying because he didn't want to go to Camp Carnival. The top right, he cried because I refused to pick him up. I don't remember why the toddlers was crying in the bottom two pics.

In the top left pic, Kalen was crying because he was in his pony and couldn't figure out how to escape (He did later on though). In the other three pictures, he was crying because my niece kept blowing air in his face.

In the past few weeks, Kalen has cried because I refused to carry him up the stairs. He cried because I wouldn't pour his water from one cup to another. He cried because he had to get his blood pressure taken.

The book is an hilarious take on why kids are crying. Even the kids got a good laugh out of the book. My nephew wants to borrow the book after I finish writing the review.
