Escape the Room Review (Tomoson)

Disclaimer: I received this in exchange for honest review.

I received Think Fun's Escape the Room: Mystery at Stargazer's Mansion, in exchange for honest review. The game comes with a clue circle, instructions, and cards for each room. The game is a multiplayer game and you have to escape the room, using the clues on each room card. The room card is an envelope with additional clues, you may need to solve the puzzle. You are not to open up the clue envelopes in advance. You start off reading the backstory to the group (3-8 players) and then move into the game. The game is timed so you will need a timer (not included) to use with the game. My phone has a stop watch on it and I have a timer.

Hint are available online on Thinkfun's website.

I love escape the room games. I been playing them online for years. It takes me a while to escape and this game is no different. I played with my nephew at first and we got stuck in the second room. We couldn't figure out the astronomer's map for the next clue to the room. When you think you have solve the puzzle of each room, you use the clue circle wheel to determine if you are correct or not. It is hard to cheat with the wheel unless you want to spend all day aligning up the icons.

The game definitely is not easy. My nephew came up with an amazing backstory of the astronomer's map when we couldn't figure out the clue.

You can purchase the game, using the link above. The game is prime-eligible.
