Impress Manicure Review (Brandbacker)

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by Brandbacker.

I received Impress Nails, in exchange for honest review. I received both a red and a nude shade. The kits come with the colored nails. One kit came with decorative silver nails and other came with nail decals. You also have extra nails in each pack. I wore the red, while my niece choose the nude. She lost a few quickly and needed the replacements.

Note: I placed the nails upside down. The rounded part (with clear tab) goes towards the bottom. I don't have any more nails to try again. Niece used them all since I received them.

The Impress Nails has created a way to minimize nail damage; created way to easily apply the nails; and eliminate the need for super glue and acetone nail removal. I used to get acrylic nails when I was younger. I hated the smell of the nail salons. I didn't like the wait times and I was too impatient to wait for nails to dry. Even now, I stick to a clear coat or choose a simple color and use quick dry drops (either some I got from Amazon or Julep).

Impressa uses a pressure sensitive adhesive backing to apply the nails. The adhesive backing, removes the need for super glue, which I hate. The nails are also easy to remove. To use the nails, you go through the different nail sizes and choose the ones, which fit your nails. It is easier to lay out all 10 nails first before starting. Then line up the nail with your nail to ensure fit. If it is a fit, remove backing, and apply to your nails. Press the fake nail, starting with the center and then moving outward. Repeat for each nail.

The decals also come with an adhesive backing, so you also don't need super glue. You also don't have to worry about smudges and accidents, when doing your own nails. I wore the nail for a few days before having to remove them. A few fell off during the first application because I did not secure the nails fully.
