Reeds Ginger Brew Review (Blog Dash)

This post was sponsored by Blog Dash. I received a 6 pack of Ginger Brew for participation. I also received a copper mule cup. No other compensation was provided.

I received Reeds's Ginger Brew in exchange for honest review from Blog Dash. I received such great flavors as Spiced Apple, Ginger Ale, and Raspberry (my Favorite). The Brew also mixes well with liquor. I had to wait until I got paid or someone, brought some clear liquor into the house to experiment. I tried the Raspberry and regular Ginger Ale alone, but mixed the Spiced Apple and the other Ginger Ale. The other two bottles are hidden until I buy some more vodka or rum.  I have some Smirnoff, I bought from the grocery yesterday, I do wonder how ginger ale will taste with Screw driver flavored Smirnoff.

My first experiment was to figure out the mule mug. I have seen similar mugs online and other product review sites. The mug changes the flavor of drinks. At first, I tried regular juice, but it did not taste too well in the copper cup.

I also mixed a small amount of vodka with the ginger ale and it tasted great in the mule cup. I also tried the spiced apple with some orange flavored MD 20/20 (at least that is what I think it is called) and it tasted great.

You also can make a Moscow Mule, which has a base of Ginger Ale and Vodka. I found a great recipe for a Smirnoff Moscow Mule on The Bar. The other ingredients include the following:

  • Sugar Syrup
  • Mint
  • Limes
  • Lime Juice

You can purchase Reeds Ginger Brew at many grocery stores. I saw some at HEB and Wal-Mart, here in Houston.

What is your favorite mixed drink to make with Ginger Brew? Post in the comments below.
