, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Niloo Dardashti. I received a paperback copy of the book.I never read 50 Shades of Grey, but I have copies of all three books.
The book discusses relationships. The book reminded me of the Fantasy Fallacy, (previously reviewed), where women defined romance by romance novels. This time, people are entranced by Christian Grey and whoever the woman was. They want to be submissive. They want a little BDSM.
Dardashti also discussed Twilight series, which I think is Team Edward versus Team Jacob. Some women want to get bit by a vampire or a werewolf, and fall in love for eternity.
I stopped reading a lot of romance books because my lack of love life never happens like in the books or movies. I also couldn't take the elaborate sexual imagery, especially while living a celibate lifestyle.
One of the first things, which stood out, was the section on the idealized man. According to Dardashti, women love a man, who is accepting, attuned, and offers a balance of stability and unpredictability (p 6)
