50 things to know about getting free stuff to review by Susan Kinchen ebook (Tomoson)

I read 50 Things to Know About Getting Free Stuff to Review: Understanding What it Takes to Get Offers, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the book to learn a few new things about blogging and getting new stuff to review.

The author discusses finding your niche and creating your social media accounts to reflect the brand. You also need to determine your review policies. Do you need to a set amount of days to finish a review? Do you need a full size sample of a product? Does a product need to be at or above a set value?

Next, you need to start reviewing things, you already have to build a presence. I would also recommend leaving reviews on Amazon and other popular review sites as well. I have had people contact me, based on Amazon reviews, to review their products. Same thing happened with YouTube.

One of the easiest things to review are books. I started off reviewing books, then moved into products. It is easier and cheaper to send an e-book than a physical product.

Finally the author discussed scheduling. You need to schedule your time. For example, I work best at night when the kids are asleep. I write and share other blogger content more after 9 p.m versus any other time of day. In the mornings, I may work on creating and editing video reviews, whereas at night, I write the reviews.

You can purchase the book on Amazon for .99 in Kindle format only.

Social Media:

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
