About the book: (from media kit)

The Question Is Not IF Attempts Will Be Made to Limit Religious Freedoms, But WhenJohn Luther, simply wants to share the Gospel and enjoy a quiet life with his family. He never asked to be at the center of a political controversy, but an ill wind has been blowing through the halls of Congress, and supporters of a new religious-equality bill see Luther's endorsement as critical. When Luther refuses to lend his support, he unknowingly sets in motion an explosive plan bent on destroying his reputation and undermining everything for which he stands. His once-normal life is turned upside down as he becomes a fugitive left with only one dangerous option--putting everything he holds most dear at risk while he fights to expose the truth. It is a mission that brings him face-to-face with the coming storm of persecution that could threaten the very fabric of our nation's freedoms.

My Review

The book starts out with a killer, Mr. Grey,  reminiscing about his past kills. Then, the book moves into John Luther holding an interview. Luther is the pastor of Truth Ministries. The reporter is trying to capture the perfect, yet controversial sound bite, while Luther is holding back his true feelings about a future legal matter: The Faith and Fairness Act "To publicly declare your religious beliefs in a way that permits equal time and respect to other systems of faith" (p. 15). The act will provide faith and equality for all faiths and religions. If the country unites the faiths, then peace will come.

Luther does not support The Faith and Fairness Act, which gives him a new set of enemies. Luther has a good size congregation and people feel his endorsement of the Act will generate new supporters. Luther wants to share the good news of God versus having involvement in politics.

The book is a good mix of fast-paced action plus the slower scenes, which provides the context and background.

The book is available in hardback, paperback and Kindle format. The book is also Prime-Eligible.
