I used to use SoftCups, when they was known as Instead Cups years ago. Then, Aunt Flo got heavier and I never seen Instead Cups again. Little did I know, Instead changed their name to Softcups and are now available in disposable and reusable (for length of cycle).

I chose the reusable because I already had used the disposable. For the reusable soft cups, you simply wash between bathroom stops, reinsert, and dispose at the end of your cycle. Retrieval does get messy, depending on your flow. I recommend placing a piece of tissue paper or towel near the sink, and keep water running nearby. You can remove, place on towel, clean yourself up, wash the cup, and reinsert.
For the disposable soft cups, you simply dispose after the cup is filled. You can also order a sample pack for $2.50 online.

How to use Softcups.
My Review:
I enjoyed using the softcups again. Because of my cycle, I was able to wear the cups for 5 hours maximum. For additional protection, I wear a pad or panty liner still. The cups are easy to insert and easy to remove. I washed the cups between changes using a light soap and water. A feminine soap would work as well.
The only issue I had was the cups had developed an odor. Do not smell the cup after washing it after day 5 or 6 goes by. My last two cycles lasted 7 to 10 days. I would recommend not wearing the cups this long, but opt for using two cups.
I learned that they can be worn for up to 12 hours! Ive honestly never heard of these before but would love to try them.
