Quit Drinking/Stay Sober Book Review by Anastacia Verg (Tomoson)

I read Quit Drinking / Stay Sober - The Easy Way (Alcohol Abuse, Alcohol Recovery, Binge Drinking, Withdrawal Symptoms) in exchange for review from Tomoson. I received an e-book to read. This post contains Amazon affiliate links and images.

The book was written by Anastacia Verg. The book is .99 on Amazon.

I wanted to review this book because my family is full of alcoholics. Some are tame and some are out there. At family events, I try to remain as sober as possible to maintain my sanity, while most of the other people are losing theirs. I only have been drunk once in my life and I did not like the side effects of drinking. I vowed never to drink dark liquor again (and I only had 2, small tea cups of Brandy).

The book starts out with a description of alcoholism and alcohol abuse. Alcoholism occurs when a person has a dependency on alcohol. The person lacks self-control when it comes to drinking. They may miss work or school. Next, they make excuses for drinking.

Second, the book gives a brief paragraph on binge drinking. Then, the book goes into deciding whether or not you should quit alcohol. Quitting isn't easy. The first step is to admit you have a problem. If someone is living in denial, he or she may not seek treatment immediately. The book also provides reasons why someone should quit drinking: improved physical fitness and improved brain functionality, for example.

Other topics in the book include withdrawal symptoms; quitting drinking; support groups, and frequently asked questions.. Some withdrawal symptoms include anxiety and depression. The last topic is tips on how to quit drinking, which starts with admitting a problem exists.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
