Princess Ruby's Make-up Ballet Class Book Review (Tomoson)

I read Princess Ruby's Ballet Class, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Deborah Bradley. The campaign was sponsored by Vita Mama Online. The post does contain my Amazon Affiliate Link.

My Review:

First, the book comes with a free audio companion file. The link is embedded in the kindle version.

The book is about Princess Ruby. She does not want to go to ballet class. Ruby loved ballet though. She practiced her moves around the house. Ruby misses a class because Queen Jacaranda's (her mother) carriage broke down on the way to class. She has to attend a make-up class and she does not want to go. One of the reasons is Ruby thinks people will make fun of her. Read the book to find out how Ruby did in the make-up class.

The book has excellent graphics and colors. It is a quick read for the kids. The book teaches kids about being brave, overcoming fears, and flexibility/accommodation. . I say flexibility and accommodation. because Ruby's mode of transportation was unavailable for her regular class. Her mother and Ruby had to change their plans to accommodate for the new changes. Ruby could not plan for the carriage breaking down, but she could attend a different ballet class, based on the school schedule, not to mention the school had to be flexible and accommodate Ruby.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
