Dr Song RoseHip Oil Product Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Dr Song Rosehip Oil 4oz (4 oz) in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The oil contains 100% pure, organic, virgin oil.

I use RoseHip Oil as a moisturizer and to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The oil is not greasy and dries quickly. The oil also can be added to creams, lotions, and other make-at-home spa products.

The oil is a beautiful amber color. It is also cold pressed.

For example, I am reviewing Seaweed powder (also from Tomoson). I add Rosehip or Tea Tree oil to help make a facial mask.

I did some additional research on Rosehip oil and found on Beauty and Tips, Rosehip Oil can:

  1. Moisturize hair
  2. Moisturize skin
  3. Scar treatment
  4. Reduces Dandruff
  5. Moisturizes nails
  6. Helps with aging.
You can purchase rosehip oil on Amazon. The oil is not prime-eligible.

The Original ReCap Product Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received The Original Recap, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the product because I remember my grandma and great grandma canning jams, jellies, and other goodies, using Mason Jars. Both Arletha and Fannie have passed on since 2000, but the memories live on.

When the jams and jellies were used up, the jars were reused again or tossed out. You don't have to toss out your Mason Jars anymore. The Original Recap turns your Mason Jar into alternatives, such as for smoothies or just ice cold water.

Maybe you want to store your arts and crafts, nails, or screws. The pour top helps you turn your old mason jar into something new and exciting.

The caps come in Regular or wide mouth. The caps also come in silver, black, pink, and blue. I also noticed a cap to turn your mason jar into a Coin Bank Mason Jar Cap

Exfolimate #FacebodyTool Review (Tomoson)

A photo posted by Stacie D Wyatt (@sdwyatt1980) on
This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links.

I received Exfolimate's Exfolimate Kit Reduces Visible Signs Of Aging - Clear Skin Naturally
in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The tools are developed with microblades to help exfoliate the skin. The blades are carved into the smooth, metal edge to remove skin cells and other yucky stuff.

The pack came with a face and body tool, in addition to the cords, used to hang the product. I think the hardest part was attaching the cord to the tools. I also had to watch the how to use video because I couldn't figure out what a 90 degree angle was on my face. The tools were easy to use. The face tool is smaller than the body tool. Each tool is also etched with face or body.

You glide the tools along your face or body and watch as your skin feels smoother. Any facial debris will be seen on the microblades at the bottom.

How to use:

  1. Wet your skin. The website recommends using the tools near the end of bath or shower
  2. Glide tool along face or body at a 90 degree angle. Use light pressure
  3. While using either tool, check for debris. You can use warm water to clean. Clean tools after each use.
  4. Hang dry

Amazing Facts about Penguins by Dan Jackson Book Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images

I read Children's Book : Amazing Facts About - Penguins (Great Picture Book)(Age 4 - 9) by Dan Jackson, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

The book is quick read. Took less than 5 minutes to finish. The book discusses the types and species of penguins. For example, there are 18 types of species in the Southern hemisphere and no penguins live in the North Pole. The book also discusses eating habits, living arrangements, and how penguins have to protect their eggs or another one will steal them.

I also learned penguins do not fear human contact.

The book also includes beautiful pictures of penguins.

The book is available on Amazon in Kindle Format only.

Sari Foods Organic Spirulina Powder Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images

I received Organic Spirulina Powder: Whole Food Multivitamin (16oz) - 100% Natural Source of Protein, Calcium, Vitamin B12, Iron, Magnesium, Selenium, Chlorophyll and Other Plant Nutrients | Nature's Daily Multivitamin, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson.

I wanted to try out the powder for the vitamins and other nutrients. The powder does have an interesting smell though. You add a little to your smoothies, for example, and it does not taste too bad mixed in. I made a Kale, Apple Smoothie with Flax seed and Spirulina. The smoothie tasted excellent. I continued to add the powder to smoothies. I am loving the powder

I also recommend once you open the powder, to place it in a ziplock or another sealed container. Some of the powder went everywhere, even with the built in seal.

Also, keep out of reach of kiddies. I lost some powder to the floor. Even with carpet cleaner, some of the powder is still visible.

Guess Who, Noah's Boat Book Review (Kregel Blog Tours)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

I read Guess Who Noah's Boat in exchange for honest review from Kregel Publications (Kregel Blog Tours). I received a hardback copy.

I wanted to read the book for Kalen, my 3 year old. Kalen loves to flip through picture books. The hidden flaps makes the book more interesting. He can improve his fine motor skills, opening and closing the flaps. Not to mention, he can learn a bible story in the process.

The story was quick and easy to read. It tells a short story about the animal's on Noah's boat. On each page, there is a hidden flap with a mystery animal. The clues to the mystery animal are in the words.

You can purchase the book on Amazon in hardcover only. The book is prime eligible

Rumble Viral Videos (Izea Sponsored Post)

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rumble for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I never heard of viral videos before seeing the Izea post and wanted to know more about it. Rumble takes viral videos and posts them to one location, organized by categories. One of the first posts, which stood out was How to Make Nutella Fudge Pops by The Frugal Chef. The recipe needed a few ingredients and I thought it was a good recipe to make for the kids. The video was posted in the How To section.

Animal Tales by Dan Jackson Book Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiiate Links and Images

I read Children Picture Book : Animals Tails (Great Book for KIDS) (Great Bedtime Story) (Animal Habitats and Books for Early/Beginner Readers 1) in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. The book was written by Dan Jackson.

The book discusses animal tales and how different animals use their tails. For example, Dogs and cats use their tails to communicate their moods. Dogs wag tail when happy and keep tails down when sad. Wolves use their tails to keep warm during the winter. Tails also can be used for swimming and swatting flies. Some animals use their tails to protect self against predators.

The book was a quick read. Great to read to your kids as an educational tool.

I received Hydracentials 25 oz Sleek and Sporty Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Flip Cap and Straw in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I love water bottles but always losing pieces of the plastic bottles or my kids lose pieces or the entire water bottle.

The Hydracentials bottle comes in two pieces: the water bottle with a flip top cap; and the insulated sleeve. You slide the bottle inside the insulated sleeve and viola insulated water bottle.

The insulation allows you to drink cold beverages without your hands freezing. The bottle is not meant for hot beverages because of the straw.

I liked drinking my iced coffee, juice, and water using insulation. Great to carry to church or to the store or the doctors office.

The only issue I noticed was the flop top cap. If you tilt it too far, it will leak.

You can purchase the insulated bottle on Amazon. The bottle is prime eligible

I received Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps - For Bodybuilding, Crossfit, Powerlifting, and Weightlifting - Increase Your Lifting Ability and Confidence While Supporting and Protecting Your Wrists - Best Quality and Support Thumb Loop Wrist Wraps for Men and Women - 100% Lifetime Warranty! in exchange for honest review.

I wanted to use the wraps when lifting my 10 lb weights. When I started on my fitness journey, it took me a while to be able to lift 2, 10 lb weights, but then my body got used to it. When I stopped working out and the weight came back on, it got harder to lift a 5 lb weight, not to mention the 10.

I started back working out 2-3 days a week and need all the extra help I can get, which is why I wanted to review the wrist wraps.

The wrist wraps also come with a thumb loop for more secure fitting and bonus music, you can download, using the website on the card. I am enjoying using the wraps. Maybe next month, I will buy the 15 lb weights or kettle bell.

Luxe Home Essentials Microfiber Kitchen Dish Towels Product Review (Tomoson)

This post contains Amazon Affiliate Links and Images.

I received Luxe Home Essentials Microfiber Kitchen Dish Towels- Super Absorbent Dish Towels- 3 Pack, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review the towels to see how well they worked in my kitchen.

Dishes tend to pile up on a daily basis and a strong, good towel is needed to wash and dry dishes.

The towels worked well on dishes, the counters, and the sink. Now, I use them to clean the bathroom, bedroom, and other rooms too.

And with a little bleach and some detergent, the stains came out in the washer and dryer.

Words, I wish my kids did not know (Excerpt from Never Argue 2014)

Words I wish my kids didn't know by +Stacie Wyatt

I thought of this today, after Kalen said a cuss word: STOP because he climbed on top of my rubbermaids (2 bins high) and I removed him from his tower. Sometimes, my kids say words, which boils my insides. So, here is a collection of words, which irritate me and why.

Stacie, Kalen, and Brad

Brad: Leave me Lone (Alone):I change your diapers. Still have to bathe you because you refuse to use soap. I have to loop your belt and zip your pants. Give you your medicine and deal with your teachers.  I have to patch holes in the walls and replace plastic mattress covers every other month. Wash your sheets and regular mattress covers every other day because you found a way to pee past the covers, both plastic and regular. Therefore, I will not leave you alone, dear boy, I will not leave you alone. Until you start pooping on the potty and smelling Axe Fresh on your own, I will not leave you alone.

Brad: Don’t want that: Dearest child, I do not care if you want this or that. You will take your medications. You will shower. You will eat this dinner, I grudgingly prepared just for you, because you just ate less than an hour ago. You will get on the damn bus. Sometimes, I don’t care what you want, provided it is a necessity.

Brad: Bitch: I am your mother. I wash your smelly butt. Drag you to the doctor. Get up early to put you on the bus. Have to chase you down to put on deodorant and your body spray. I have to watch you take your meds because you will spit them out. I suffer though ARD/IEP meetings, text messages, and phone calls from Spring ISD. I am not your bitch. You will get spanked for calling me or any other woman that.

Brad: Why:  Negro, you have a limited vocabulary and I am not going to waste time, explaining in explicit detail, WHY, only for you to ask me WHY again. WHY? Because I said so. Because you can get hurt. Because you have no other options but to do what I say NOW.

Kalen: Mine: This may or may not belong to you.  This is also a fighting word between you and your cousin, Sariyah. Mine, No Mine, Mine, Mine.  Stacie is just going to take it away and put it up, until yall stop arguing.

Kalen: Ewwwww  and Boobooo: Good words, but this usually means you or your brother done pooped on the floor or smeared poop somewhere. Yay me.

Brad: Stink: Good word but this means, I have to change your filthy diapers because you refuse to poo on the pot. I also can smell what your butt is cooking lol.

Brad: Really: Word, you picked up from the yellow devil his self: Sponge Bob Stupid pants. Really means you are trying to be sarcastic and your mother is one of the reigning queens of sarcasm. Really? Sit your butt down somewhere and learn a different word.

Kalen: NO: Good word, but see STOP. He sometimes says no after he is doing something, he shouldn’t be doing and I have to stop him.

Note: I decided to add this blog post to the book, I'm working on.

Goboxi Productivity Software Review (Tomoson)

I received access to Goboxi's productivity software, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. Goboxi allows you to manage email, tasks, calendar, social media, and projects online. You can import your emails and other information into the website for more organization.

I wanted to review the software because I need to get more organized. When I was in school, I forgot about other things, such as submitting a review on time or not writing enough reviews, such as for Tomoson, to get the load minimized. I also struggled with tasks around the home, such as cleaning. I need to clean, but I also need to write. I need to write, but kids are calling me for food. Of course, I need to find a ride to the store to get food.

Now school over and I still am not finding the time to do everything I need to do. My blogging tasks are almost back on task, yet I need to clean. Like right now, I am on a mass cleaning spree. I got the game room floor, front room floor, and kitchen clean today. Tomorrow, carpet cleaning my room, upstairs hallway, game room, and maybe the front room. I still also have to vacuum the living room.

I'm on the edge of burnout and need more organization.

Goboxi allows you to log in with Facebook or Google plus. You also can connect your Twitter, once logged in. You then can add your Gmail account. Add tasks and a time frame and date for each task. You can search for items by hashtags.

You can read emails by contacts. You can read and respond to email. The website is great for organization. So far, I have used the site to read emails and for task management.

Framesi Color Rich Shampoo and Conditioner Product Review (Tomoson)

I received Framesi Color Rich Shampoo and Conditioner, in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I wanted to review Framesi's products because I dyed my hair twice over the summer: once red and another lighter reddish orange color.

A photo posted by Stacie D Wyatt (@sdwyatt1980) on

Usually, when I dye my hair, I start when my hair is shorter and then let it grow out to a mini afro, then cut my hair into a fade again. Yet, the color fades by the time, I want to shave it off again.

I wanted to review Framesi to see if my color would still fade quick. The color did not fade and it lasted longer than before. Normally, I cut my hair within 2-4 weeks after dying it. I just cut my hair last week. About 2 months. The color still remained a bright reddish orange.

My head is back to its normal color and shaved now, but I would continue to use Framesi when I dye my hair again (still trying to find the right purple. everytime I buy purple, my head ends up red or orange or reddish orange).

Glen Campbell I'll Be Me Review and Giveaway (FlyBy Blog Promotions)

This post was sponsored by FlyBy Blog Promotions. I received a free preview of the movie in response to the campaign. No other compensation was provided. All Opinions are my own.

About the Movie (from media kit)

In 2011, when Glen Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, he joined forces with his family to fight the biggest battle of his life. Glen and his wife, Kim, made history by going public with the diagnosis – the first time a major American celebrity would share this experience with the world. The Campbell family then embarked on a short “Goodbye Tour,” but the three-week engagement turned into an emotional and triumphant 151-show nationwide tour de force.

This epic human drama about the undying bond between Glen and Kim, and their unwavering caring for each other, chronicles a story of love, resilience and the power of song.

GLEN CAMPBELL…I’LL BE ME is the true tale of how America’s greatest country star would not give up his music or his family, against all odds.

The film features those who know and love Glen, including Bruce Springsteen, Bill Clinton, The Edge, Paul McCartney, Jay Leno, Vince Gill, Jimmy Webb, Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Steve Martin, Chad Smith and Taylor Swift among many others. Rare vintage footage and extraordinary new performances of Glen’s most beloved hits immerse this moving cinematic account in the overwhelming talent of this humble family man. With joy and a tireless sense of humor, Glen and his family live each moment in the present while preparing for the future, all while playing their music to sold out venues on a star spangled voyage spanning the country from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl.

The movie was produced by who produced Walk The Line

My Review

The movie is a documentary about Glen Campbell, who has Alzheimer's. The movie features clips from his performances, family, and friends. You also see Campbell in the beginning, watching the movie with this current wife, and she has to remind Campbell who was who in the movie.

From a caregiver perspective, I was touched. I have two special needs kids, who require me to change diapers, button and zip clothes, tie shoes, bathe, etc. His wife was smiling. I don't know what she was going through mentally, but she was still smiling on the outside.

You also see footage of Campbell during medical treatment, such as taking an MRI or talking with his doctor or talking with his wife, while waiting on treatment.

I love to travel, even though I don't travel much. In August, I went to the Bahamas for 3 days. The last vacation was Morgan's Wonderland for a day in 2011. I love visiting new places.

For the Morgan's trip, it was a day trip, but I still had to pack extra clothes for both boys; diapers, wipes; laptop; phone; movies for the bus trip; snacks; and my purse.

For Bahamas, I had to pack my clothes; shoes; diapers; wipes; toiletries; kid's bags; purse; laptop case; and kindle case. It was hard moving five bags around by myself. For the next trip, I want to try those vacuum space bags to make more room. The shoes fit at the bottom of the bag, but still took up valuable space. Glad, I only packed 2 pair: 1 tennis and 1 dress shoe.
