A conversation with my mother about sex, boys, and how she married my dad book review (Tomoson).

I read A Conversation with My Mother About Sex, Boys, and How She Married My Father  in exchange for honest review from Tomoson. I was provided a paperback copy of the book. The link is my amazon affiliate link.

The book was a quick read. The book is about Arielle. Arielle is a young female, who at first was going through puberty. The book then progresses to her mother teaching Arielle about sex (emotions, the dangers, peer pressure,  pregnancy, stds, etc). Her mother also told her about how she wasn't a virgin when she married Arielle's father. Arielle's father was not around at first, but eventually turned in a great dad and husband.

Mama Deanna is willing to be open and honest about sex. She is willing to have Arielle ask those uncomfortable questions about sex. Mama stresses the importance of waiting until marriage to have sex. and Yes, this book is written from a Christian perspective.

The book is a great read. It can be used to facilitate conversations about sex. The book is one long conversation between mother and daughter.

5 stars.
